2024 Philippine: Sibuyan Island to Simara Island

Travel to smaller islands in the Philippines needs some advanced planning because they rely on passenger traffic and cargo and may not be on a daily basis. There are a few options to go from Sibuyan Island to Simara Island, but the quickest and most efficient is taking a Star Horse Ferry (that originates from Roxas City, Capiz) from Sibuyan Island to Lucena City, with stops in the towns of Romblon (in Romblon Island), San Agustin (in Tablas Island) and Corcuera (in Simara Island). Although slow, travelling between these islands and watching the activities in the ports of call make it very interesting.
