- How to replace navigation assembly control module for 2004 through 2007 Infiniti QX56 and Nissan Armada 2004 to 2007. When your center display is not working and goes blank intermittently or goes blank for good.
I bought the Assembly Control Module at: www.tomsforeign.com (Tom's Foreign Auto Parts) see video for part # options, also check ebay for this part.
I bought the center top dash piece at: www.partsouq.com (part #682707S604 Lid Cluster)
Dealer wanted to charge me $1350 to fix this problem. I saw your video and did the repairs myself for under $200 ...Thanks so much

where did you go to purchase it
I have a 2004 Armada and it had the SAME issues as stated. I went to the salvage yard and bought a 2007 QX56 navigation box and the salvage place said it wouldn't work. Well BAM I'm back in business!!! Thank you for posting this as the dealership was going to charge me $1000 to fix and I did it for $100!!!!
Hi. I have a 07. My steering wheel buttons, dvd, a d a radio stop at different times. Did yours do the same. And did it fix all
So the one you got from salvage yard do it work if so did you have to have it program to your infiniti
OMFG!! I have the same truck, same year, same problem. Mine has been randomly going out while I drive, or while it warms up. Radio is dead, heat/air work (no screen, no idea what the temp is set at), but climate buttons work. My screen has been out for 3 weeks now. My current fix is resetting the battery, but then the same thing happens. I'm buying a module. Thank you for posting this. I've been trying to trace this for months.

@Barry Golden it sure did. Everything has worked since replacing it 3 years ago. Since then, I've added a Grom Bluetooth adapter to stream my xm and i love it. Next I'll be replacing the under seat sub and wiring an amp off the factory harness

Did you have any issues with the tach before you did the swap?
@Barry Golden i honestly don't remember if the tach was affected by this. I had a gauge cluster problem, but it was the assembly itself. Lights would go intermittently on and off, and it turned out that it needed replaced. It's very common on these vehicles. For a luxury suv, it sure has an uncanny amount of electrical issues. In the depths of winter, for example, mine won't maintain a battery charge. Must be on a trickle charger below 25⁰.

I have a 2011 Infiniti QX56 and the audio goes in and out intermittently. The screen still works and the navigation still works but I'm wondering if that's what I need to switch out to get the audio to work?
How did you get your navigation to look updated? My is so out of date. Can I just replace my entire stereo and screen instead of buying a new assembly navigation module?

By any chance, did this issue cause you to have a battery draw? I have a Nissan titan with this issue and it also has a drain issue
I don't think it did with mine. Has your alternator been replaced? I replaced mine at 240,000. It started to make a humming noise for me. Could be that.
Are there any other models that will work in the car? I have a very large junk yard with me and I'm sure there is one but I'm not sure what makes and models have intermittently parts you can swap. Please message soon.

Hi Chris. Need your input / help please. I've got a nissan armada 2010 LE. Last week the display screen stopped working. Just blank. No radio, CD, dvd or sat nav. How've when I turn the key the air/ac comes on automatically and I can't control it. Did you have the same thing happen with your air/ac? I'm thinking if I have the same issue as you and need to Replace the module for the display screen to solve the issue. What do you say?

I have a 2011 QX56 and my screen works and everything is good except for the sound. I have no audio. But I was having issues with my CD player. My disc would get stuck sometimes and wouldn't come out.
I was gonna replace the entire receiver but now I'm wondering if it's just the Module.

Rosa Sepulveda mine started out with our CD player would stop working on and off, I didn't know what the problem was at the time though. Now I know that this is the fix. I can't say for sure in your case but it might be the problem.
I bought module but it still didn't work. Actually found out it was the radio fuse under hood that burnt out. Fyi

@@alesmith5242 just go to ebay and type ur car year and the display control module its a silver box unit same as what the guy in video is holding
If the fuse was blown out, the circuit would be dead and you wouldn't have a intermittent on off display and ect...
First clue. No power. Check fuse first.

i have the same car as you and i have a problem with the backup camera stays black do you know what can cause that ?
If you dont have the backup lines on the screen , then the CCU is faulty. If you DO have the backup lines and no image, the camera is faulty.
Is the Altima assembly control mod still working well for you?

No, I did alone, is not so hard ,but I had to get center console from ebay for about $350.00 not everything is fine...
That's not a module fix that's a module replacement ..
