  • I experinced insane psychidelic ceremony called dhikr performed by sudanese whirling sufi dervishes that gather every friday at around tomb of Sheikh Hamed Al Nil in Omdurman (Khartoum). It was mystical, intense and godly. You better check it out youself guys.

    Amazingly well done video, by all aspects, really!
    I would like to reflect my thoughts about ur question of what i think about the Sufi ritual in Hamad Anneel. I think it’s more of folkloric ritual more than a religious ritual. For my own understanding in Islam, this is not a way to worship the God, although it has remembrance of of HIS name. But as a Sudanese I totally think it’s a cultural ceremony, that’s inspired from different cultures and traditions, you can not miss the strange relationship between Sufis in SUDAN and the Rastafarians in Jamaica for example, the colors (red, yellow, green) , the dreadlocks , and “obviously “ the weed 😂 as well as the music, it’s the same drums and Riddem in the temples of Jamaica.
    Sufism is a big school in Islamic philosophies, but the way it’s being practiced now a days is not necessarily in line with what Sufism is REALLY about, but I would say the same about the whole religion, and this of course does not apply in all Sufis in SUDAN of course. I consider myself as a Sufi person btw, but I think Sufism is about your own relation with the God, in line with the Quran and the prophet teachings.
    Still I enjoy very much the Hamad Aneel Sufi dance , I go there often with tourists, I enjoy the music and I love the ppl, I just wanted to share my thoughts about that.
    Much love from SUDAN :)

      So what is Islam?

    • @nazarabdallah4841
      @nazarabdallah4841 3 года назад +2

      @@nadeemtoofany7288 the prophet of God ( Muhammad ) peace be upon him never asked us to do such things but he WARNED US from it , those people not all of them but the heads of Sufi people deal with magic and jinns (demons) and that takes you out of islam , most of the people who follow them are ignorant and they need to watch-out from them and learn.
      1-Islam is worship Allah alone ( so anytype of worship should be to Allah alone ) such as making Dua ( prayers asking God and many more )
      2- worship Allah according to his way and the way of the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and anything other than this is not accepted ( the prophet peace be upon him said ).
      And those Sufi’s call people in a very sneaky way to pray for other than Allah , and call upon dead people to help them ( and they are dead ) that can take you out of islam unless you are ignorant and other reasons,
      So these people do not represent Islam ( WHY ) ?
      Because the prophet peace be upon him and his companions and two generations after them represent Islam and NO ONE of them did such a thing as what these people are doing.
      I hope my answer is clear , if not i can inshallah guide you to where that you can know more just reply to this comment
