- Playing mission 80 on 200 game speed, that's the only rule. I'm allowed to make any units but I can't change the game speed.

Strategy: So forget about the quarries and everything we used to do because we don't have time to set those things up this time, our priority is to survive the early attacks and slowly get our production up. Our early game build order actually matters now and if we do one thing wrong it costs us the game. But apart from the early game the rest of the game is actually pretty easy (Just like every single crusader mission lol)
I did so many attempts with the quarry moat strategy but it just doesn't work, by the time you're done digging that moat you're already dead.

Such a wholesome Lord, he wants to kill you, but at the same time, he's constantly keeping you updated about your gold stocks.
You have pretty good play style. But it's a little corny. For example, my villeins on a voluntary basis are vegans, environmentalists, ascetics, atheists, logistic advocates, esthetes, urbanists and act against animal abuse. So I don't use hunters, dairy farms, bakeries, churches, payments, iron mines, ox tehters, inns, any units with cross representation or using leather armor (swordsmen, knights, crossbowmen, macemen) due to my people needs. I never know how much game will take, so I don't use pitch, slaves, fire ballistaes and killing pits due to Geneva convention, which could be invented before my victory. I strict using of woodcutters and build castles, you know, for people. Any castle must have cool shape like a star or the Mobius strip. We're not in 1970s to build boxes. Castle must have reasonable amount of flowerbeds and they must not stand in the way. Landscape and climate must be considered in castle building routine.
But it's WAR!

Personally I love Stronghold 1 soundtrack, especially the "Glory 16:08 ". The peaceful ones are cool too but I can't put them in a Stronghold Crusader video, I feel like they don't fit this game lol

Without the labyrinth trick this mission is so insane .
Never thought of it as a kid but managed to beat it hard way. Just need to secure stone early (dig it around) and can slowly progress from there. But truly it was challenging.

Does anyone know how to actually install the mod? I’ve downloaded it and clicked on the application in the folder but it just keeps saying that “the folder cannot be found on that path”!? I’ve looked at the help pages, discords, everything. Why is there not just a ‘how to’ page for idiots like me who don’t understand computers too well… Ergh. Sad.
If anyone could walk me through it, I’d be grateful…
I just dragged everything to my game folder, clicked it installed it and it worked fine.
But they have a discord server it should be somewhere in their github page, people there should be able to help you

Hello there! i have problems when i installed the unofficial patch, it says that i must installed the V.4 first so i can install the unofficial patch too so i have installed the V.4 version but it deleted my normal stronghold crusader (i mean not the extreme one) and then i got panicked and accidently deleted the Stronghold Crusader with Recycle bin and want to install v.4 again but it says
"Error number : 0x800040720
Description : Failed to load DLL : GameUXInstallHelper_FF
setup will now terminate"
and its force closed can somebody help me pls 👉👈

I have to rewatch youre video, because when I played the mission on game speed 90, I had huge difficulties with the catapults of Richard, where are they in this video?! Arent they there because of youre labyrinth trick?
No it's because most of the engineers die before reaching their tents!
@@Jefflenious Ah, so its because youve built the towers very far in the front, thank you for the hint!
So the mission would be a lot harder, if building towers that far in front would be restricted.

Is it possible to finish this mission without using shields?
I did it with crossbowmen and horse archers. Normal archers and Arabian archers are a lot harder to use without shields
I know its an old comment but I place lookout towers in front of the square towers and they block virtually all the enemy arrows

Have you ever tried thunderrock on game speed 200? I think, that its not possible for a human to beat this mission on game speed 200...

A second map for game speed 200 would be misty river, also very hard.

I think the max speed is somewhere around 800, also mission 50 is actually harder on high speed don't even think I can do it on 200 lol

why not use mangonels? they cripple the wazir if placed on your eastern shore and are useful when the others amass their troops in the killing field.
Wazir is dead anyway, I use ballistas in case I need to take down siege weapons

It says "it's a Rout" which means "a disorderly retreat of defeated troops"
