- Bryan Kohberger has been transported from Moscow, Idaho, to Boise, where he will be tried on charges of killing four University of Idaho students in 2022. He'll likely be segregated from other inmates at the Ada County Jail until his trial begins in June of 2025, according to the president of the American Jail Association. Shawn Laughlin joins "Banfield" to discuss the conditions Kohberger may experience.

I was a Corrections Officer. Much of this info is incorrect about segregation. Segregation is a cell with only that inmate in it (one per cell) for 23 hours a day, 1 hour outside in a tiny closed area alone. He’ll be restricted in what he can keep in his cell and what he can get from the canteen. AdSeg inmates are not allowed to have a job. There are no educational classes. He can get a few books to read, maybe someone will give him a Bible. He’ll be brought out a few times a week for a shower with an Officer supervising, will not shower with any other inmates. He’ll get three hots and a cot and very little else. He’ll also probably be restricted on visitations if he gets any. The other inmates won’t know about his charges unless they’ve seen him on broadcasts. Corrections Officers are not told what charges they’re there on unless it’s a widely publicized case like this. It’s possible he’ll have a tv if he can afford to buy the little clear box from the canteen but there are few channels provided. Hope this helps others to understand the inside about AdSeg (administrative segregation).

So.. yeah I know a little something about prisons.. I’ve had a few family members sent to prison. And whatever this lady is saying, and this guy is completely false. But what do you expect from mainstream media…
I’m sure it ain’t gonna be a cakewalk for this guy, but It seems the storyline here is for this guy to suffer immensely in segregation and they keep his nose, clean, head down and whatever else. That he was living the life in the other jail, and this is difficult and hard livin’ a hard brutha life up in that jailhouse.

I can't remember his name is last name was Taft he was condemned for murder for 20 years and they found him innocent he got killed in Las Vegas he got 20 million dollars but they say innocent until proven guilty

Have to say, I'm impressed by the way Idaho handles things. Sounds like they're running a tidy ship. I did see articles about how overcrowded Ada County jail had become, but this interview runs counter to those stories, unless they've upgraded the jail since? Besides, since he's segregated, he probably wouldn't experience those conditions?
It's easy to be this way when you don't have as much petty crime, drug activity, and over abundance of my-norities.

I think he has no remorse or conscience about what he did. Horrifically, he may even enjoy remembering it. I haven't read anything about him ever being suicidal, but I did read about him feeling depersonalization at one point in his life, which can be a symptom of schizophrenia.

Give him ten or fifteen lie detector test over over again of course that probably wont help either. Hopefully he wont have a heart attack while they are doing it. But then they might be happy they think they got their man. The knife sheath is strange and where was all the blood if that info is out there why dont they release that to the public. Pretty scary case for what ever crazy person or persons did this. Were their ever any self inflicted wounds on any one of the victims? Which i take it thats came up also.

And lot of social media posters noticed that about his eyebrows changing. He was trying to tamp them down. But nothing is going to change that protrusive brow or the fact that his bushy eyebrows have already been photographed numerous times before he tried to do that. I strongly suggest you examine your weird feelings about Kohberger.
His eyes are emptied and hollowed already. They should let him in the gen pop. Don't give him special treatments.
