- Federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York have been building a case against rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs for months. Combs was charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution on Tuesday. He entered a not-guilty plea. Law&Crime's Jesse Weber discusses the best evidence the government appears to have with former litigator Robin Nunn and Colin L. Schmitt, a retired FBI agent and CEO of Chronos Investigations.

He's complaining how he was arrested the night before "turning himself in" yet giving a criminal the ability to pre-arrange this is a courtesy in the first place. The authorities don't owe him this extra freedom.
He had plenty of time to turn himself in over the past several weeks - funny how he was "just about to" when the cops showed up.
he couldve turned him self in at any time if he knew he was actually innocent, i guarantee he was trying to figure out how to escape to a country without an extradition treaty

Lawyers always tell them not to run because they don't want to be disbarred. Whether or not they mean it or whether or not their clients listen to something different.
A jury is not going to find him credible at all. Especially if it becomes relevant that he denied and disparaged Cassie, told the public that she was lying. And then when the tape came out years later, he admits it and then takes the video down. That is going to be gold for the prosecutors as far as his credibility
