      Are his animal senses immune confusion. Seems to me since the brain is the receiver of all 5 senses, the brain could be fooled into seeing, smelling, and feeling something that inst there. Hmmmmm.

      I would say Old man Logan is one of the best wolverine stories, along with enemy of the state and other X-men stories.

    • @Rodgerinho
      @Rodgerinho 7 лет назад +59

      THANK YOU. Exactly what I was thinking, Wolverine can smell his allies, but more importantly, his enemies, he's shown to ALWAYS detect a foreign scent in their midst. Fuck Mysterio, he's not getting close! Wolverine would smell him way before he could use an illusion.

    • @Rodgerinho
      @Rodgerinho 7 лет назад +24

      Spider-man's spider sense works for danger and is precognitive as a reaction. That's very different to a sense of smell that has the range Wolverine's has, it's not like you can sneak up on the fucker. Spider-man, you can, so long as you don't intend harm or don't pose threat, in theory you could get right up to Spider-man.

    • @jharriger2816
      @jharriger2816 7 лет назад +53

      Rodgerinho ...in the comic itself, Logan even emphasized to Hawkeye that because of Mysterious the X-men even SMELLED like the villains.
      Like it or not, alternate universes don't always have the same powers or strength of ability. To deny this Universe's reality based on Marvels Prime universe reduces you to triggered basement-dweller fanboy status.

    Old man Logan is so tragic but such a damn good comic! Definitely one of my most favorite Wolverine storylines. You just can’t keep a good man down. Over the many years of Logan’s tragic life he has been good, bad, and everything in between but what lays at the base of it all is that Wolverine is good and has a pure heart of a warrior. At the end of the day whatever he has had to do to get the job done doesn’t matter because Logan is good. Long live the Wolverine!!!

    The movie was a classy, thought-provoking and surprisingly tearjerking work of art.

    I could see some common elements between this Old Man Logan comic book series and the Transformers comic in the 80s. Back then, the Decepticons were nearly victorious over the Autobots. Ratchet was the only fully functional Autobot remaining, and he wasn't even a warrior. Optimus Prime had his head removed. It was much darker and grittier than anything in the animated series.

    Many of Xmen future comics have villains in control., "Age of Apocalypse", "Days of Future Past" to name a few. I think Old Man Logan is a natural process the Wolverine would have taken even if he hadn't kill all the Xmen. He would probably see over time, his love ones die and still he would live on because he can't kill himself just like Hulk who in this story is like the dark twin of Wolverine. Another theme which runs through all of Logan's time line. I have been reading Wolverine(in the Xmen, then in his own titles) since the 1980s. Some of the alternate stories are the best. I am off to see the movie, "Logan".

    when I first learned of Wolverine. I was wondering how a person could strengthen their bones tendons and ligaments muscles organ blood eye teeth nails hair overall skeletal structure. My research suggests with the right source of nutrition training a person can make their bone structure 20 times stronger than what the average person is today. At the same time being able to adjust adapt respond to any illness much more efficiently. The Wolverine type status we would be 10 or 15 generation of people consuming high sources of nutrition clean water air with a very decent workout regiment if not hard-core. Think about this for most of the average person's life,
    their bone structure is breaking down deteriorating' that takes a lot of energy! For the body to manage deal with just to stabilize. With the right high source of nutrition, one will be strengthening rejuvenating replenishing their overall skeleton structure allowing all that energy that went into slowing down the process of deterioration to be freed up for other functionalities within the body. 9:01 It could have been his mental state detorierating over time , even before gamma radiation caused him to turn into Hulk monster he was not a good picture of mental health by any strech , he had at least one additional personality before he was turned by Gamma Bomb .
    His mental health could have just snapped by some event .

    This story got old quick but I labored through it anyway. This comic was all about the shock value and what you saw in the first few pages you got the rest of of the comic, until then end. The ending is where it got really interesting with him and the baby hulk.

      It was a coordinated attack with each villain attacking each sect of superheroes all at once. They didn't have time to recoup or communicate or form teams or plans with each other because it was a simultaneous surprise attack. They quickly got overwhelmed and killed. The comic's great you should just go ahead and read it.

    *Spoilders* BARELY matches with the comics as this Logan movie is very depressing, great, and sad.
    1. Depressing - It really goes to a point where we can see Logan's loving and good side slowly being released when around Family events. Logan through all the movies has basically been a depressed and alone guy.
    2. Great - The movie is awesomely done but only resembles a little to the comics. Imo best movie of 2017!
    3. Sad - It sucks when you actually like a character such as Wolverine and see him die on screen. Especially knowing that Hugh Jackman has retired from the role which unfortunately makes fans sad. At the end of the movie he speaks of what he finally feels inside which is Happiness of holding his daughters hand in his dying breath although he also wanted to commit suicide.

    I imagine the Logan story isn't finished, yet. In the movie, he dies. However, because his healing factor has slowed, it is still working, much like in the comics after being digested by the old Hulk. He will rise from his grave to finish out his days, much like the comics.
