Fade was the first agent I unlocked and I think she's one of the easier ones to play. She's great to attacking and defending and has super easy info gathering. The hardest part of playing fade is to know where to put your haunt on each different map in each lane.
My problem is that sometimes I am very aggressive other times I want to stay safe so I usually just choose people like Sova and Sky so that I feel like I am doing something but I am safe
I started with Viper and Astra. Now I'm Cypher and Yoru. My friends are shocked at how quickly I've learned. But I think picking a niche Agent like Yoru, Cypher, Astra actually HELP so when you do pick the more common Agents like Viper, Jett, Chamber, it comes easier.
@@ironrain7239 I had 84% cypher pick rate and picking agent that is harder to use and have multiple playstyles actualy helps... Since you have to look at the map find all posible flanks and if you get it right you will find that all maps have something same: mid, two ways to get to the site etc.
I started as KJ main because i was new to M&K and she was easy and turrent really helped me..I learned playing her you end up in a lot of clutch situations because team dies at other site..so I'm pretty good in those situations now..I've recently switched to omen because chamber phased sentinels out basically...I think omen probably best solo q agent
Started as a kayo/skye main because of their flashes, but then realized that i prefer the controller position due to how you can play around them smokes, so i picked omen because of how versatile and easy to reposition omen is. Now i also main cypher and sometimes chamber depending on the map, so as of right now i'm just filling for the unpopular roles. I'd still pick Kayo if we are missing an initiator because of his overpowered flashes.
When I first started playing valorant, I mained neon, and viper, and then mixed Skye in there every once in awhile. I really liked the way each of these agents worked, and I had the most fun with them. Then one day, I started playing pheonix. I think he's a great mix between each of those characters, and I've genuinely had the most fun playing him.
I love Neon since I first saw her, she feels great to play and I feel like she suits me, it's just hard because nearly every game I try has instalock duelists and a team doesn't need a ton of those
when i started playing valorant back in 2020 i was loving to play with sova and reyna then I took a break from valorant and when I started playing again I really like playing with chamber and omen and now currently I am chamber main and when i get bored I play omen sometimes tbh choosing your main really helps to climb up ranks
i started at yoru as my first ever agent. then viper, then cypher to climb to bronze/silver then omen to get to gold, now i main jett and chamber in Gold 3. but i love playing nee agents i can proudly say i can pretty much play any agent
I started playing valorant probably two weeks ago, and I choose fade Im so bad at aiming since it will be my first time playing fps for sometimes (I usually give up playing fps for like less than a day lmao), so I choose to be initiatior since I will rely on my skills more to assisst my team who can aim better, and yep its fun lol
Not me totally unlocking neon first and played her whenever I first started playing… I’m used to the borderlands style type gameplay where it’s fast pace, and her running and movement fits it perfectly, I guess kind of rough that she’s hard to master according to the video 😅
When I just started playing val, I unlocked astra and yoru as my first agents. Time passed but I still love these agents cuz they are ez for me to play
two of the characters that I started off playing were cypher and astra. That was one of the worst decisions Ive ever made as the only tactical shooter I play is rainbow six on controller.
I started with yoru and fade... now am onto Reyna and Phoenix... it was a great trial and error... i played all agents and observed that Iam a born duelist.. no matter what .. i wanna take early frags or so ... reyna and phoenix help me do the same and am perfectly satisfied
I started maining kayo not long after I downloaded the game and I liked him a lot, he was much easier than raze, who I picked first. but now I'm starting to see that I don't play kayo that great and not only that, but I feel like always have to fill. I never instalock because I know that randoms are usually not capable of creating a good comp and will pick reyna anyways. idk if I should main a few agents and try to pick them more or fill whichever role we need or whoever is good on a map
Countless hours with Sova before switching to Yoru (pre-rework) simply because I was it was more fun. Arguably a way better fit for me. I liked the word, mesh in this video. That's exactly it.
i have played a bit over a month, but i feel like i'm best at neon, ive tried all agents by now, but since i was very very good at 1.6 kz and bhop and stuff, i feel so good on her :D, i started off with playing brimstone, but i feel like neon-s concuss is super easy to use
The thing is I right now main Yoru, but in reality I would probably contribute more as a initiator, but I really enjoy playing yoru because he’s really fun, what should I do
I started with playing cyphre on ep1 act 2 wher he was op after that i lernd omen as my controler, however cypher slow play still didn't match mine so i tried to play a lot of agent, until i played yoru and et was like they made the agent for me playing aggressive and also make enemies so lost by using alot of strats was exactly what am looking for , and that was my journey to find my mane
I like omen a lot because I played this agent almost 1 year but I realised that my kd increased when i started playing reyna. Which one should I play ? Everyone can play reyna but only a few can play omen properly. I am afraid when my hp is too low, so I think I should play reyna, what do you think ?
I just started and the two agents I mostly identify with are reyna and raze. Well fml, my positioning, aim and reaction time is shit, I might be bottom fragging but I‘m having fun
I started as a jett main and then moved onto chamber and then sage and then kayo and then neon and now phoenix Cus I realised that the best agents for pro play are not so good in low elo while the worse agents in pro play are the best in low elo eg. Phoenix, reyna, neon etc.
"if you want to be the first point of contact for your team, try out a duelist" low elo duelists: *hides and baits whole team till they're the last man alive then play like it's deathmatch with abilities and then die to lose the round but with kills*
i started with omen, then went to reyna for a bit, then did omen again since reyna wasnt for me, now im maining chamber i guess im an aggressive controller/sentinel :p
Im literally so annoyed, I use to main reyna but as i progressed in the game, reyna was getting hard and harder to use because of goddam headtaps. I mained chamber for a long time but they nerfed him so hard I cant play him anymore (maybe im just bad but still, im not use to it). Now apparently im just a duelist main. I play pheonix, jett, and omen but im not sure who to main. I also want to learn raze. I am currently peak s2, who should i main?
Yo guys im a newbie but im REALLY stuck in finding my main character, if anybody in the comments wants to help me i'll enjoy and im all ears. Playstyle: i usualy play aggressive unless im trying to set up My favorite classes are Sentinels and Duelists, i like entering the site but i also enjoy doing some intelligent plays, i dont enjoy playing initiators that much but there is one of them which i do like, and that is gekko. I dont have the best aim but sometimes i pay cracked for some reason. My most common picks are: Gekko, Cypher, Neon and i might play a bit of Chamber when i unlock him. The character i had the best Kills, Strategy and etc was Cypher, he was the first one i unlocked because i was interested in him. Right now im level 11 but i've been evolving quite fast. Any ideas? Edit: i might've made my choice because i noticed my favorite characters are sentinels. Those being Chamber and Cypher, so i guess ill be sticking out in sentinels for now!
It’s kinda funny to me how he said agents that are the same role usually fulfill a similar purpose then said you’d think agents with the same role have the same purpose but that couldn’t be further from the truth
This is really helpful, thank you. Could I request a video on best agents for each tier of Elo? I keep hearing that Reyna isn't very good, but she's generally the top frag that absolutely stomps everyone in my games, and I feel like this is an elo thing. I recently unlocked skye and instantly clicked with her. She fits like a glove. Problem is, I'm in bronze elo and have difficulty advancing with her. I tend to play a bit more passively when I'm playing initiators, and that often left me in 1vX clutches. It's like my teammates can't figure out how to benefit from my callouts / information. So I'll have to try another character it seems. Same thing happened with neon - she was my first free character unlock, I love her kit so much, she's so fun, but tends to be a bit harder to master due to her movement-based mechanics. Just picked up Raze today, and have team MVPd every match I've played with her so far (even though I've lost all but one...).
The thing with reyna is, she's useful only if she gets a kill, unlike other duelists like jett and raze that can provide pressure onto site without needing to kill (raze boombot + molly backsite, jett smoke and dash, neon fastlane + rush, ). In lower elos like bronze and silver where braindead smurfs terrorize new players, reyna mains thrive because as smurfs, they more often than not win their 50/50 duels. This doesn't apply as much when reyna players are faced against people of their own level. With regards to the teammates not using the info you gathered, that is to be expected in bronze. Trust me, I was hardstuck bronze for more than 3 acts straights. Do still practice giving out quality comms though, as it is a much helpful skill as you rank up. I do think skye is a very strong character when played aggressively, especially in bronze where enemies aren't used to turning away even from the most telegraphed flashes. In the same way that your team doesn't listen to info, so would the enemy team have awful comms on their end. That is why to get out of bronze I used omen a lot to abuse teleports and smokes to catch enemies off-guard for free kills. This has its downsides though; because I leaned so much on using abilities to get most of my kills, my gun control and aim in general was not good enough when I ranked up.
I was sure that I'm a duelist cuz I always rush but I was always the bottom fragger I knew that I'm a duelist but I need the perfect agent I guess I should try Reyna or Phoenix cuz I tried yoru for a very long time but at the I ended up bottom fragging and losing every match also getting bullied by my teammates
am a Yoru main who picked Jett by mistake and I don't have good aim and out of no way I was hitting headshots so cleanly with Jett's knives from the air id dash into site take out 3 people and dash out back to my team I became a Jett main in .2 seconds by mistake
I don't think Reyna is a good starting agent because in the start players don't get kills easily which makes it harder for them to use her abilities right. And to be able to use the orbs effectively needs a lot of understanding and practice into the game.
TBH i picked Phoenix because his personality is like mine... 6 months of valorant i got roasted and flamed for picking a shit agent, and i constantly flashed my teammates (the ability....) Now im still a Phoenix main.. however im a top fragger nearly every game, and now I still constantly flash my teammates.
