This house needs that haunted trait, like the family got the house cheap because everyone thinks it's haunted/cursed, but it should also have the gnomes trait so worrying about fixing stuff broken by ghosts isn't as big of a deal

Make the mother/dad a real estate agent (is not in the sims but.... Idk) and he/she renovates homes so you can kind of continue this series.
That would be a cute LP! It seems lots of ppl are doing like house flipping, and small houses, or zombie houses would be great for that in a LP.
real real estates agents don't really renovate. thats a renovator.
@@azadalamiq you can do both, and still be a real estate agent. Money from multiple areas is never a bad thing!

I will say as a parent of a toddler, you’d want a door to shut on their bedroom for a quiet naptime. You’d have to be so careful and quiet otherwise, haha.

*Suggestion:* it could be interesting to see you rework a Victorian house, that is very elegant, sophisticated and intricate, so it becomes very sleek and modern. The theme is essentially the past meets the future. 😊

One of my favorite ways to clutter my house is to use the framed shoes, and a height chart. I take photos of the children at every life stage and hang them all together on the wall so its like the entire growing up in one spot. I also recently found the birth certificates so i pair those with it too. Its cute extra cute if you're doing a legacy challenege. You can see the entire family through the ages in one spot. Sometimes i hold onto cute drawings the children made, or small craftable sculptures so it feels more real and homey. Like "look at this dragon sculpture made by your great great grandpa on your father's side 3 times removed
Deli, you should totally do a lp on this! It could be a vanilla lp, like the one with Hope and Finn, but more family based. Maybe it could even be a generations challenge.
Love your vids sooooooo much!!!! They are so neat and unique which inspired me to play the Sims 4 too!

Other ideas:
- Maybe a single sim/couple moves into an old refurbished lighthouse? Or a lighthouse library with a bedroom at the top (if you want to make it a bookstore and run it)?
- A park/garden with a groundskeeper cottage
- an outdoor venue that'd be good for a wedding. Bonus, adding an indoor ceremony/reception area for Seasons, or a way to keep warm in winter.

I think it’d be so fun to kind of combine an LP and a build series, where you play through and as you get more money do a renovation
this series reminds me of my life right now! my bf and I just bought our first home and we're slowly renovating things. he's going to be redoing the porch guardrailing soon and I'm changing out the bathroom medicine cabinet/mirror and adding an extra shelving unit above the toilet. it's so much more fun renovating in the sims lol
pls do some more base game building tutorials. ive looked for your other one where you created a house with a blue theme but cannot find it😭x
I'm a base game user as well, and I want more as well. I love the packs and all that, just don't have the ability to get them yet. But, it would be nice to see what some of these YTers could come up with.

I love painting but usually don't paint outdoors that often because it's hard to keep up with all your supplies and the wind blows everything around. But I do have a porch that I paint on all the time, it's so peaceful outside! Love you Deli!!
Noooo the mix matched chairs were so cute, it’s much more realistic for a young family to not have perfect furniture

Building a home for kids is very hard because you can't put anything out that you don't want to be grabbed. Kids are very curious, and that has to be taken into consideration. Also, I am so glad you added more color! The house looks amazing and I love the lil doggie door!

Cute! Cute! CUTE!! - I love "rundown" builds, so it's always fun to see those; and then to see them "renovated" for a certain sim/family to fit their needs is a lot of fun too. I'd definitely love to see more of these!
Could be a viewer challenge to create the rundown builds, with one video showing a few of them off - maybe include a poll on the video to let people "vote" on which of those builds you renovate next. And either create the sim/family it makes you think of to renovate it for, or even ask viewers to create sims/families you could pick from. That could be fun! And a few videos around the single project.

I’ve never left my toilet brush when I moved out lol, just two old dryers that no longer worked in a storage shed that came with my apartment. I wasn’t about to move them lol.

Slowly waking up and watching this in bed is the best way to start my day 😄 love the realistisch family vibe in the house, I loved the white floor, but this one is great as well, made it all a little bit more warm and inviting

I've made sims for the nymphs circe and her sister who had a minator. I how the new realm of magic expansion has witches and a medieval style world

On a side note Deli, I've always wanted to see you create a sim who goes into the criminal career (and is very successful in it! Maybe becoming a top tier criminal mastermind haha) it could be a change of pace to how you play the sims. It would be interesting to watch :-) Have a good day Deli!!!!

I'd like to see a Bright Bold Colour challenge. Its one area where my style differs from your style. I love colours! I think it's outside your comfort zone and its good to do that once in awhile. Explore things.
Also, I think it would be fun to design a room around a piece of furniture you don't like the color, don't use, or haven't used before.

Hey Deli! I don't usually paint outside. Too many uncontrollable variables. The wind could pick up, it could rain, bugs/dirt could get stuck in the painting, too much sun exposure to paint can fade the pigments. It would be great if painter's didn't have these problems whilst painting outdoors, but such is life.

Painting outdoors is def one of those romantic ideas that sound reallyyy nice and relaxing but once you drag everything out there and set it up.. the wind blows grass clippings onto your wet canvas and bugs crawl all over your palette... it’s a mess. Truly

Very amused house cleaner here. Unless things are very different in Austrailia, we definitely bring our own toilet brush. I have never heard of leaving a toilet brush when you move out xD but it might be a thing in Austrailia or other areas!

I think to make a budget more realistic, you should subtract funds when you knock down walls and get rid of junk. That's how home renovation works in real life. But I'd like to see this again. Maybe ending with some before and after screenshots

As I watch this build series I realised the floor plan looks a lot like my cousins’ childhood home and during that time they stayed there, they were actually toddlers. I think the oldest was on late primary school before they moved out. But yea. This kinda bring back memories.

I didn't do move-out cleaning that often but I worked for a company that did mainly restaurants, bars and the owner's houses. And if there was no toilet brush, my boss would make us use a rag. So don't feel bad about leaving it!

Maid here lol. Whenever we do a clean we have our own toilet brush but if the house already has one we’ll use that. Usually for a move out clean there’s always a few things left like toilet brushes and sponges and sometimes cleaning sprays

I need the my first pet pack now purely for that frog rug and new curtains.
I always throw toilet brushes away when I move out and just get a new one for the new place, but I've NEVER moved into a place where the previous tenant DID NOT leave the brush. There's always someone's old dirty toilet brush greeting me. xD Its so funny that you mentioned it because I think about it a lot and it drives me crazy. Like just take it with you or throw it away!
I totally agree on the bed not being a maxis match! I never use it because it looks weird! I also agree the toddler bed situation is sad! I have some much trouble making a cute twin or triplet bedroom with them!
