Thank you, that’s very kind of you. The lighting is something I’m looking to try more of this year so I’m quite pleased how this turned out considering how big a building it is
Wow! Just spectacular. I’ve been to Scotland a couple of times and my heart belongs there. Thank you for this so thoroughly enjoyed all of this.🏴❤️🙏
Stunning work as usual Al , absolute respect for putting an idea into your head and bringing it to life the way you do , the fog rolling in on the time lapse brought a mysterious edge to the footage , very well suited location for your style of photography
Thank you so much, the fog and lights effect was a rather unexpected bonus after missing out on the Milky Way overhead, which was due to happen at that time
Wow Alasdair, that was amazing, especially seeing the backlit fog rays coming through the castle. Really enjoyed that mate, cheers for sharing and putting all the hard work into it.
@@gordonmculloch4904 the front doesn’t lend itself to capturing the Milky Way overhead at this time of year I’m afraid. I have though shot a time lapse on f the front side after I made this particular video which is on my channel
My first visit was in January of this year, I went there in February to shoot this but I was clouded out, so I was back there on Thursday evening to shoot this, loved visiting it, so I can understand why you go there every week

My family & I visited here 2 days ago (15th June 21) whilst looking back at my photos yesterday I noticed from the front & the back of the house 3rd window in on the left what appears to be a womanly figure standing there. Which prompted me to search for further info which lead me here. First photo I took was from the back of the house 3rd window in on the left. 2nd photo from the front of the house 3rd window in on the right, the shape I see appears to be facing the camera on both shots, very creepy! Really enjoyed this video!
Thank you for watching, and what an amazing experience you had, probably best to have noticed later in your pictures rather than at the time of taking them. Was it the ground floor that this figure appeared?
@@amacmedia3221 yes the ground floor, exact same window you see the shadow in on your video. Yes I'm pleased I didn't look at the photos whilst there! Although my husband wants to go back now. We did hear some very spooky noises & a few loud bangs. We didn't stay too long as the kids got creeped.

Best film I've seen of Dalquharran. It is a national disgrace that this fine building (and its older sister not far away) is left rotting away.
