I love Peyton, she was my favourite but sometimes I didn’t like who Lucas made her be, like she was so in love with him and it’s like he would tease her with a little and then completely shut her down the next minute. It was horrible

That's why he panicked when Lindsey was leaving him. He was going to be vulnerable and the Lindsey excuse not exist.

Everyone talks about how naley is the best couple. Tbh I think they are amazing but an ordinary couple and cute but leyton has mystery and 'forbiness'. And love triangles. Eventhough we know they are going to get together but we say atlast when they do
The reason why Naley was the best is because they just loved each other. their relationship was more real and there were no doubt whatsoever that they belonged together. They just fit! All the drama with Brooke, Lucas, Peyton and then with Lindsey too was just so much. Way to complicated and Luke was a cheater on everyone but Peyton, which apparently some people find romantic.. Nathan and Haley had their ups and downs, but no matter what they stood together, we saw their relationship so early in the first season and it has been so amazing following them through the years!

But I liked them because they always fought for eachother even when the other had given up and it showed us how hard it is to love someone and that getting married at 16 is a pretty bad Idea, since they hadn't realized their dreams yet and had different dreams. Whereas to me Peyton and Lucas where great and I loved them, I just think it had to much drama for me. I'm not really into a huge drama fit. But generally I liked all the pairings because I felt like they all were necessary in making the characters grow up and find who they were. lucas was the moral compas, main character for the show and i love hime, but as i look back at the seasons and think about all the choices he made, he was really bad. he was a jerk to nathan, got mad at haley, strung brooke and peyton along, cheated on brooke with peyton then slept with nikki, hurt anna, tried to get dan arrested, cheated on brooke with peyton again, tried to kill his dad, left peyton alone after spending years convincing her people never leave, tried to hook up with brooke
...right away, hid from his true feelings and cheated on and hurt lindsay, kinda strung brooke along for awhile, was a jerk to peyton about the baby. he had his redeeming qualities and while this is a lot of miatakes there are probably more but you know people screw up. but they always stil potrayed him as the perfect guy. ok mess up some times but dont pretend to be perfect. that just kind irks me. hes always hiding something so no one gets hurt and it ends up destroyign like 4 diffrent people!
It's weird to see Brooke genuinely being happy that Lucas loves Peyton, but I am glad she got over him and moved on
