What if your rig only has one bone and, your trying to change the material of the texture
If you want, you can change for the rig models the color, scale and transparency. But for material and texture you must take every bone one by one and work for it.

go in your animation folder, go to file and you can see the export button there.

how to make character that isn't roblox face, just like the face u use in the vid and i wanna know how to make body parts, too
First, you can search in tool box for more face packs, second for body parts, you should know how to build a rig and how it works, if you get a R6 from RS, it will work in moon animator, if you made a model by you, you must weld every part and add humanoidrootpart.

i have the first one but most of the UI is gone like the key frames and the add button i wish i would of gotten the second one when it was free
You haven’t showed us how to render the animation (to play it without any gui when its done)

i got moon animator 2 for free without having idk how i had the first version
so what I ment was how to move eatch limb by themselfs like moving the hand upwards etc without moving the full character
How would you animate a big ship with many parts and stuff?
First, you must have the model and weld/rig all of the parts to the centre to the ship.
And don't forget to add an humanoid-root-part to the ship.

For some reason every time i press "R" or "+" or any other types of input it does nothing because instead of Moon animator getting the input roblox studio gets it and nothing happens
Yeah, sometimes this issues iccures and the button don't work properly. If you want to add a keyframe you can also double-click on the boddy part bar or if you want to input anything else, search from the menu the button.

hey, i just recently installed Moon Animator 2 and it's a bit different? i can't seem to find any tutorials for the "newer" version or whatever I've got, the problem is, that when I put the rig in the menu, no limbs show up?? all it says is rig, properties, and Cframe
The new face should be in the rig added, I'm not sure how does it work but usually it should be added with mouth and tongue.
how do you change the moving style to move the rigs body? Specifically from the circles to the arrows? I cant figure it out

Seeing how you seem active I have a question! I noticed a problem when clicking the frame. Neither rotating or moving doesn’t appear when I click on it for any part of the rig. If you might know the issue it can help!
Maybe it's an issue from the plugin, just replace the keyframe by deleting it (shift+x) and just put it back.
how do u make something hold a pose and then instantly change into the next frame without it moving to it
you have an ease called ''none'', I think that one will help you.

Put the mesh or part into the arm/leg/whatever you have and weld it to the body part so it can move at the same time with it and also animate.
Please... make a transparency tutorial. I BEG YAH.
Just use a photo editor to remove the background...if you are talking about transparency of a model, you can just add it from the selection or from settings.

Hey! First of all, awesome video, really enjoyed it. Second of all, I kinda need someone's help with the problem I'm having: I made my stupid animation, did the camera work, blah blah blah. I am now trying to record it and put it in the editing software, but I can't record it without having the rectangles (for me they're orange and as I can see, for you they're blue) that are for the corresponding body part. I have made 2 animations yesterday without any problems. Any way you guys know how to fix this?
This exact thing happened to me! I did some research and apparently its easy by just pressing Ctrl+B and you're done!

Maybe there is a problem with the rig, please look at every body part to count in with a weld.

How does one inverse the animation? For some reason when I do ctrl+R, it reflects all of the frames and not just a selection. (Great tutorial btw!) if you can reply then that would be awesome
I don't understand what you actually need help for, but I can give you some ideas:
-Select all the keyframes you want, Ctrl+c, choose the place you want to put and at the end do Ctrl+v
-If you want to add a set to keyframes between an action for a better movement, select both lines of frames and press ''M''
-press B for onion skin
-you can also search in the menu tab for others

Symmetrical like you did around 5:21. (Also I appreciate the tips!)
@@Raij1_n just turn on the repeat button (the one that look like a recycle sign) and if should mirror it.
But if you want to (mirror the last part of running) you will need to use the onion rig and copy the same poses for the arms and legs (torso is not counted here).

how to mirror an animation
There's 2 options:
First it's by saving what have u done and paste it into the another models.
Second by using ''onion skin'' to repeat closely the animation into another model.

Try saving the animation into the Roblox studio,remove the rig from the animation and re-add it and output the saving back
If you mean resetting by removing all the frames, just select every move and delete it ''ctrl+z''

That's a script that you will need to add your animation in your movement, just search for any guide for that.

You need to click on the both parts you want to weld, first on the primary and then the secondary

when i close the moon animator the character goes back to the inicial position like i did nothing is that suposted to hapen?
Yeah, everything will go in the initial position after you close the animation (warning: don't forget to save your animation after you are done) and if you want to continue it, go back to the moon animator and open the animation.
how to change torso position without moving the whole thing
hide all the body parts or just save first keyframe position and in the second place

How do I make the idle animation more smooth while it's going back into the loop? It stops suddenly and it looks really robotic. You know what I mean?
Yeah, if you see in the menu while you are working on project, you can see in the right of add models button, the loop button which it looks like a recycle sign. And for robotic part, I forgot to tell you but the second way of making it more smooth it's to put more frames in according time space.

There's a button in the right of adding stuff, there you can loop all of your stuff, from camera, to your characters (btw you can't change it, it will loop everything).

moon animator got deleted i don't know what happened to it so im curious, and my moon animator is outdated
You can just update the moon animator by searching again in the toolbox and click on the update button, it will force you to rejoin the place so u must save all ur stuff.
