I really admire your perseverance, honesty and vulnerability here. When that strap broke on you, I think I gasped out loud. Glad you still got to watch Taylor! :-) Take care.
Next time you bake a GF chocolate cake, substitute 2 tablespoons of cold coffee and 1 and 1/2 a tablespoon of GF vanilla extract for an equal amount of the total liquid (don't adjust the oil or eggs). Or if you want a vegan option, use a 12 oz. can of cream soda! Just add the soda to the cake mix, mix gently, and bake as instructed. It comes out so yummy - moist, light, and fluffy!
The apron definitely is appropriate for cake baking and the outfit as a whole is cute. It's still cake and it's chocolate. It makes sense that your channel started doing better when you found your niche because it was something that you were genuinely interested in and passionate about and people can see and hear that. Aww...soothing, peaceful music is very appropriate for sleepy kitty. Yeah, that's definitely a qualify issue with that dress that the plastic rings will break that easily. Good for you for finding ways to be productive even when you weren't having the best day. Hopefully your days since have been better. Watching this was actually relaxing time for me since my dad and I were working on some long overdue cleaning earlier. Happy Easter!
I remember when I was in elementary school centuries ago, we had a home economics subject, and the teacher would teach us different styles of stiches for embroidery. I don't remember much, but I could see myself taking that hobbie. BTW, I re-started ballet beautiful because you inspired me to do it again 😊
Aww, your caking outfit is so cute! Baby Ellie's first videos were so much fun and you rocked those glasses 🙂 My friend Amber loves everything purple and I told her about your purple dresses. I hope your cat didn't ruined your dress.
@@ElectraDashwood 😂 I'm glad you did :) Also, is your proyector on 4K? Because the concert movie is available on 4K and on your Disney+ account it's available on HD.
That is the cutest apron I’ve ever seen!! And it was a perfect fit with that dress 💖 I think I heard in an interview that “Barbie dresses for the occasion and not the day” and this baking outfit seemed very in keeping with that! I feel like I need to watch the Taylor Swift concert wearing a pretty dress, too. I’ve hesitated because I rarely listen to music so haven’t really heard her last couple of albums but I’ve always liked her ☺️
This makes me so happy! I'm now convinced whenever I change my outfit multiple times a day that it's entirely because I'm Barbie dressing for the occasion. 😄 Wearing a pretty dress and watching the Taylor Swift concert is an essential. Maybe you'll discover new favorites from her new albums while watching! 💖
7:24 I was intimidated by the number of books people read and honestly, all booktubers are so chill about not being many books because it’s impossible or if you’re Jack Edwards.
What a rough day! I'm glad it ended well, though. I love the term mental flu! It's so accurate. I'm also very happy to have a regency romance recommendation. I used to read a lot of regency novels, but lately I've read a lot more contemporary and fantasy - to the point that I actually made it a goal this year to get back into regency, but I had no idea where to start. So now I have a couple of Julie Klassen novels borrowed from Libby, and I'll start there. Thanks :)
Your baking outfit is so adorable! I have a couple of aprons, but making a cute one is going to be my first project when I finally start learning to sew properly (I don't count the sewing lessons in school)
@@ElectraDashwood Search for Sage Lilleyman on RUclips, she has a video tutorial for making an adorable apron with straps that cross over the back. It's beginner friendly and doesn't need a pattern
0:22 Fun Fact: I remember seeing a version of ‘Pride & Prejudice’ on Reddit which had replicas of letters that the characters would’ve written to each other.
I've read a few good books over the recent years, but I find many books are just not well written. I wish I kept a list, like my dad does, of the books I read and my thoughts on them, so I could suggest a few - or go back and read them. I remember liking some historical fiction, one was The Last Days of Night.
Honestly, I thought I didn’t get the notification from your channel. Nice to see a new vlog! P.S. I had a bout of mental flu and I just released a magnum opus yesterday.
I’m wondering if you might like novels based on real life historical events? I recently read The Rose Code by Kate Quinn. The story itself is quite good, but I find the historical aspects to be so interesting. (Set during WW2 in Britain.) Take good care of yourself!
Box gf cake tends to not be entirely brilliant. It's passable appearance-wise, but tends to crumble more easily and doesn't taste as good. Unless I'm being massively lazy, I treat it like something to have on hand when I owe baking in a hurry for an event.
It is super nice to have on hand in a hurry. It is so hard to find good GF cake! I do have to say this boxed one was actually better than the last time I bought an expensive GF cupcake at a specialty bakery.
I love the term "mental flu!" It's so accurate and such a good descriptive term!

Aw! Thank you! I’m so excited about it. 😄
Can you keep the dress or are you going to have to return it?

That’s so cool that you re-started ballet!!! And that’s so awesome they taught you embroidery in school. They totally skipped that in mine. 😄
I had to Google the Julia Pauletti song that you used - the official version has less than five hundred views on RUclips! What a find! 😯
