I remember when my Dad had bought this video for me and my Bro. We sat and watched our heroes over and over over again. What a time! That following weekend, he grabbed his Vision Psycho Stik and I grabbed my Per Welinder Street with renewed inspiration!

OMG the memories.. Grew up in Jersey and used to take the path right into the city when I was that age and that's the NYC I loved, not the BS place it's become where you can't smoke, get a large soda, or even watch a good art film with a fake ID purchased in the adjoining pawn shop. And the towers, so nice to see a clip where they haven't been edited out. We should see them as they were and be reminded, what are we not supposed to think? I estimate this was around 85-86 from the SOL scaffolding

Wow...so cool to see this again! REALLY cool that all of the comments are so positive. Skateboarding was so much fun back then...wish I could do it all over again. I'd hurt something now.

I've seen Future Primitive 1000's of times, I love it! But who's the skater at 2:40 in this clip lying down? Black and white stripped shirt, dark hair, chuck taylors, jeans and what looks like indy 215's for trucks.
I ended up finding out it was Dave Hackett.
