I’m planning on using the snow trooper minis as phase ii clone troopers with Galactic Marines colour scheme, I think that would be the best case scenario balance wise.
Not sure if I’ll get snowtroopers. I don’t have the $ to get 6. 😁 The ocd in me doesn’t like to mix them with regular troopers anyway, but their ability is sweet.
Just finished playing a game w/ a buddy of mine.. I ran Vader, x3 stormtroopers, x2 snowtroopers w/ flame, and x1 ATST.... The ATST seemed to be a point sink and the stormtroopers just get wrecked and dont seem to be doing anything w/ the white dice they attack w/... Would I be better (in your opinion) to run all Snowtroopers w/ flame, and Speeders? With either Veers and/or Vader? I'd love to know your Opinion. Thanks!
I much prefer the multi-part assemblies. I had to cut off all the arm pegs on the Stormtroopers from the core set, to get them to fit properly. Looking forward to getting a box of these guys.
Hey crabbok. So in Star Wars i always liked the look of the snowtroopers over the traditional stormtroopers. The question i have is, could i essentially say "screw it" to the stormtroopers and run all snowtroopers?

I need to get into this game, but I am not a painter....Which is why I love X wing so much.
Just to throw it out there, but this is my first time painting. Is not so bad.
Painting is fun and very relaxing! I would give it a try. I didn't think I would like it but I really did. Plus there's a bunch of great tutorials!

Do you wash your minis before painting them? I just started painting my first Legion minis and the primer is not sticking very well.

Storm Troopers are 2 pieces generally, arms and the rest of the body.
So you'd have to get sawing.

I got some snow in a tub which I use for my Warhammer Space wolves, it will look great with snowtroopers
Can Echo Base Rebel Troopers be far behind? I expect to see them in a release announcement in the near future.

I think the separate legs and arms will make painting a little easier, at least for me.

Yes, you could. They are Trooper units the same as regular stormtroopers.
Well in fairness he did build a whole dedicated hoth terrain set.

I like these molds better. A lot of my storm troopers have a bent gun to be able to get the arms to fit correctly.

Some of them are for friends - I just used all the boxes in this video for dramatic effect!
