When I first played this I just ran through the story on Xbox 360. Now I’m playing the 4K version on PS4 and at the beginning I just build my SP up to the point that my characters were maxed out. Helps in the beginning of the game. Also building the SP, I’m also killing enemies until I get 100%. Wish I did this had I known now versus when I first played this 8 years ago. It’s a great game though some parts of the story didn’t make sense...
i leave monster data until later because getting the plat requires 3 runs so you can build alot of data across 3 playthroughs, also, since i know which battle skills are useful i just save up and only spend sp on the ones i know i will use. i just finished my first run and always had at least 2000 party sp to use.
Are you playing the PS3 version or the Xbox one? The end boss def makes up for all the other medicore bosses throught out the game. There is a achievement for all the quests in the game complete which is quite a feat. 100% trophys is a even bigger feat.
@hexer2112 i played monster hunter unite. i found it a great gathering and crafting game. star ocean was better an rpg with huge crafting elements. kinda the same but this one is more an rpg.

@frostxr theres about 3-5 in the first 2-3 towns but by the time your a few towns in theres 5-12 then 12 + half way through.
