When I had to make square eggs for work I'd put the cheese in the middle and fold over. Got a perfectly sized egg and the cheese melted sealing the egg up.

I've had a hard time over the past couple years requiring double hip replacement. During the second surgery last December they found unusual tissue that turned out to be cancer. I went through 10 months of chemo and was very sick. Your channel helped keep me going and I'm happy to say the treatment worked and I'm cancer free. I only tell you this so you know how much you helped me. I imagine you to be the real deal after watching so many videos. You have inspired me get well and cook something outdoors. Keep at it my friend. I wanted you to know you help people in ways you might not imagine. I can't light a fire without looking for a snake in my boot. Godspeed in your pursuits.
I was curious if you’d make the maple syrup pellets. Maybe dice the sheet of reduced syrup into small squares and give them to chef mike for a few seconds to loosen them up and then roll them up. Still digging the recipe though, thanks!
I always fold the corners of the cheese slice inward to match the size of the vessel. plus it basically creates a double-thick cheese layer. Now, I want to see you use your baking skills to make some legit biscuits to serve with this sausage and gravy.
You should try freezing the maple syrup after cooking it once frozen you could put it in a zip lock and hit with a rolling pin to create small pieces you can put in the batter. We used to do similar as a kid with maple syrup and snow to make maple candy.
Got to try the new starter pack. I'll probably do the lazy thing and brown up some ground hog meat I got and mix in the seasoning as it cooks for a nice breakfast scramble. Now, you have done English muffins and now griddle cakes. You must, being in the South, make some biscuits. Sausage biscuits are a staple in the South.
those grinders are nice i went looking back at christmas and they had thier 1hp on sale with a foot pedal for about the same price of the 1/4 hp and i couldnt pass it up way more than i need but even frozen meat goes through with out the machine knowing
I'm not one of those people who hate MSG, I think it's the magic for breakfast sausage. It was the final piece that took my homemade sausage from good (to me) to great (again, to me). That said, I'm definitely gonna have to try your seasoning... It just may get a shot of MSG added. 😄

I've found that mixing Sriracha with maple syrup is an incredible breakfast sandwich sauce for those who enjoy sweet and spicy. Would probably be great on this sammich!

instead of waiting for the maple candy to cool all the way before breaking it up just take a pizza cutter and score it then when it cools break it up like rock candy

Any chance you could find a way to ship to Australia cheaper, or a distributor here in Aus? I bought a couple of packs of Nic & Plump in the 2023 Black Friday sales and the sausages were delicious. But at the moment shipping cost to Aus too expensive to make it worthwhile. I'd love to try the new sausage mix too, but I'd expect shipping cost on that would be a killer too.

Try cooking the egg inside the ring mold. That is what we do to fit our English muffins.
Curious if putting the candy maple in a mold would work similarly with less elbow grease
