I am going to show you how to know and which signs show you if your getting a 5 star in your next warp or summon in Honkai Star Rail. There are a couple of way to figure it out and I will show you in this short! Good luck to all you summoning for Jing Yuan in Honkai Star Rail 1.0.

5★ is four descending notes playing repeatedly, and 4★ is four ascending notes repeatedly.
I’m an idiot who doesnt know anything about music. Can you explain?
@@SirBeelz The notes go from high notes to low notes in succession of 4 if you got a 5★, and if it's a 4★ then the notes are in a low-to-high order. Does this make a little more sense?

The music is literally different, it's not just the tempo that changes
That right
its the pitch, the 4* is the notes descending in pitch, and 5* is ascending in pitch

I already love Star Rail better than Geshin, mainly cause there isn't enough characters yet to create a whole factions war. Though I have pretty good luck so far with usually getting 5 star within the soft pity range. The best luck so far was either 0 pity Clara a few day after talking to a friend about wanting Clara or getting Jing Yuan and his light cone within 50 pulls cause simping power is great when it was just the second limited character.
Genshin impact is better

I normally play with music turned off and don’t use headphones. So I only know when the door shines gold

there's a rainbow effect on the ticket when it flips into the left side which literally means you got a 5 star

They should make it like in Wuthering Waves. Saparate banner for weapons and limited banner for characters.
When I got my first 5 star. I cloked the music was difrent got confused. And then pomegranate pompom fell over.
there are two other ways actually, you'll see a more vibrant rainbow and you'll see a yellow glowy door
Personally, I think the door's colour/glow should also match, so good for a 5* and purple for a 4*
The light that comes out from the door is not enough? XD

Edit: lost the 50/50 BUT did get Gepard and he carried world 6 at level 40
Pull for standard and reach 300 pulls and choose either of them... easiest guaranteed way

Thank you for the 4*, i noticed the 5 star, but i never knew how to tell the 4*
Another thing I noticed is the pattern behind the animation when you get a 5 star. You can actually know if you got the limited 5 star if the symbol of their path shows.
i got a 5-star destruction character on my first 75th pull on the IL Dan Heng banner. Her name was Clara 💀
fun way to find out is close your eyes and if you hear pompom go woahhhh , then it is a 5 star, if pompom goes hmmm, its a 4 star.

Before i got a 5 star i had 19 characters (including all 3 from banner)
The second i pulled, an achievement for having 20 characters popped out and this spoilered winning.
That's not always a help. Very rarely but you can get 4stars that not on the banner rate-up.
Can't tell if I had a 5 star because my phone said: You want a 5 star? I'll make you think you're gonna get one.
Yesterday i got Bailu, in like the first 10 pull since i got jingyuan, as soon as i saw the golden rainbow around the ticket i was like noooo waaay 😂 wanted bailu or silver wolf, got bailu, gacha games sometimes have their moments 😂😂

Constantly get 4-5 stars when I do a single pull but never get a 5 star when I do a 10 pull

In Genshin you can tell as the start of the wish animation looks different from when you only get a four star when you looks closely there is a big difference

Before it reveals the 5 star it will also show that path of the character

In case you don’t know what is the difference between the 4 star and 5 star music, is that the notes when the train arrives when you get a 4 star will have ascending steps, and the notes when the train arrives when you get a 5 star will have descending steps
the color of the light behind the door changes too like in genshin

The door becomes yellow if it's a 5 star but it's purple if it's a 4 star
If you look in the top left corner you will see a rainbow color that stands out completely that’s how I definitely known I’m getting one and I got almost all 5 star characters in the game lvl 80 😫. But you guys look out for it!

And to be fair, if you try to listen to the music then at that point it's easier to look at the lights that come out around the door. (since both happenes about the same time)
110 Pulls and never get Fu Xuan. For now, i use Preservation Stelle but if i got her, i will change Stelle into Destruction again.

Why is no one talking about the door tho? Blue for 3* Purple for 4* and Yellow or Gold for 5* Some people knows this but some don't also there are also different animations for Pom-Pom (Depends which star it is)

if you get achievement, you're lucky
If not, try another 100 pull
