We are similar in terms of what sirens we can use for example a bullhorn is banned and will actually make you uninsured! But we actually use different sirens for different purposes for example to prewarn our arrival at a junction we often change to a wail, in pedestrian areas there is a lower volume siren, in high density traffic and pedestrianised areas we can use a rumbler siren, on motorways we use various sirens depending upon multiple factors, but when you are on your bike don't be afraid to knock on Windows to get the attention of a driver and be clear and concise with your instructions!

The regular models have like 10 tones to choose from but the programmable ones like HHS3200, HHS4200, Carbide, Core, etc. have up to 70+ tones to choose from. Of those ~70 tones, around 12 sound like they would be legal in China and you could for example add easy-to-use/ automated voice commands that would be useful for our medic from Beijing.
I am a British paramedic,we are currently only allowed the sirens with ten choices, so I am not aware of the seventy options ones although it wouldn't surprise me if there are as many as that, especially as I know of a 'baby shark siren' option available on at least one model of siren although I don't know what model it is!

SENKEN siren but my friend Modified the sound information in the chip
