Wow, he is BIG, isn't he! I remember reading a magazine article over thirty years ago now (pre internet!) about a dressage rider and her almost 18 hand thoroughbred. She found him while looking for what she called a "brave volunteer" to move up in the dressage world. He was exactly that- bold, brave and ready to try anything for her, plus perfectly made and beautiful to look at. But, his stride was so big that he could barely fit in a standard dressage arena. What took other horses two or three strides he could easily do in one stride. I'm not sure what she ended up doing with him though I hope she kept him. Anyway, Gamble reminds me of that horse in his size and scope. Plus, such a gorgeous horse! I did laugh at that funny almost deer-like jump on the cross country, though! Funny guy... Thanks for the video!
Just saw the USEA Area III 2020 overall results and wanted to pass along congratulations on Let It Be Lee's 2nd place Intermediate Horse of the Year and your 4th place Intermediate Professional of the Year! You're in very good company (Leslie Law, Elizabeth Halliday-Sharp and Joe Meyer). Here's wishing you a great 2021 as we get this season in full swing.
This horse is a lot to keep put together nicely in a balanced and rhythmic package. I know he is going to get more consistent with milage but I wonder how much he will naturally get it together and put on autopilot like Lee seems to do as he advances. Yes, Lee isn't push button but he doesn't seem to need as much precise constant strong communication. Maybe that was just his distractibility from lack of milage showing. I know I would not have made him look as good...lol!!
@@titanbuck7 Lee is at a higher level and had a lot more consistent work in the last year - not really fair to Gamble to compare those two! I always found it to be one of Elisa's great strengths to show so many different horses with different riding styles and being able to adapt so well to get the best performance out of them.
Can you do a video on what you feed your OTTB'S? I Have one i n particularly who is incredibly sensitive to feeds and get very hot very easily. Would love to see how u manage that!
Was Gamble the one who didn' react well to the humidity at first? If yes, I'm so glad to see you managed to get that under control :) He's always lovely to watch.
Wy is still on vacation. He’s just turning 5 no need to push. Plus there is the whole money thing as I have to pay to event so I often have to rotate sometimes who gets to show. 😬 Gottum is being slowly brought back.
Of all your OTTBs, Gamble has always seemed to have the “look of the eagles” and it’s so great to see him out and loving his job!
You’ve got a lot of horses competing this year, I’m excited for the helmet cams!
I love how relaxed you and Gamble are!
He is my absolute favorite!! I just love the way he moves and his attitude ❤️
So great to see him! I had been wondering about gamble💙 he’s so cute, ADD and ALL those legs to keep sorted🤣🤣🤣🤩🙌💙 he’s a gem!
Reminds me of a lanky teen age boy. Those long legs.Good to see him again.

Gamble and Eton are such heartbreakers! It's so good to see them happy and enjoying the eventing world
What a sweet boy! He is your next 5 star horse! His cadence is better than a lot of the track kiddos
such a lovely horse! I'm not sure how you do it, but keep up the amazing work!!
I have always adored this boy.

You said it was the first show since 2019, where was he last year?
At my farm.
My guess is that you guys weren't showing because everybody canceled events due to covid 🤷♀️
Nice job
Early!!!!! Awesome video love them!!
👌
What happened to your latest mustang..we need a update
Escher? She found a new home for him :) I recommend following Elisa on Instagram for updates.
Is there a specific explination as to why is Wy not competing? He just doesn't feel like the kind of horse or-?
Also, what's up with Gottum?

what happened with the other thoroughbred u got at similer time to gamble? gottum! nice to see gamble back again
Looks like he's up for sale, have a look on Elisa's website, he found competition too stressful
