- Still Wakes The Deep has arrived on PS5, and it is a truly terrifying experience. So naturally, we're going to make Dave play through one of the spookiest sequences in the entire game. Trapped on an oil rig following a catastophic event, can Dave escape whilst being persued by a mysterious deadly creature? Oh he's also completely isolated at sea and the weather is terrible. Are you a child or just completely unaware?
They (WeAreReach) are a PR company who create content for clients. One client is Playstation, for whom they run this channel, but they've also done stuff for Netflix and Eon Productions (Bond films) in the past.
Since the channel itself is paid for by SIE, it doesn't need adverts, and also it wouldn't have adverts because Sony wouldn't want to be associated with a lot of youtube ad partners (e.g. imagine a Breath of the Wild ad plays before a video).
I mean they are the official PlayStationUK channel & work for Sony.

@@teza1383they are contractors from an independent firm. They are not salaried with Sony. But you are right in principle: Sony pays for the channel, that's why it's not monetized.

As someone who has worked offshore on oil rigs and am Scottish, This is a pretty accurate depiction of how it looks and the language! Unfortunately, I never encountered a Scottish Gollum in my time though!

Just completed the same water tank section, playing in the pitch black with headphones on was utterly terrifying. The sound design is incredible in this game.

Between Nath's video essay, Ash's video essay and this stream, I really wanted to try this game. Even though I am a massive scaredy-cat haha. My friend bought it on that other gaming console (boo) and we are playing it together!! It is bloody terrifying and I have to hold my breath doing some of the stealthy parts. But it's such a compelling and amazing game that I'm so happy I'm at least trying it lol.
The voice acting, visuals, story it's all top Tier in my opinion loved the game
I dunnae ken what's Scottish Gaelic for "standing ovation", but I applaud ye both for such a sensational stream! Scottish Gollum has sparked my curiosity as to how many regional dialects Rob can Gollum-speak in...
Also: happy to see the jump-scare joviality of Ms. Millman lives on in Rob; just goes to show you can't spell Playstation AccesS Horror without ASH!

Saw this video, immediately bought the game for my boyfriend and I to play through. Dave is kind of my metric for if I’ll be able to play a horror or not cause I’m a bit of a scaredy too- and this game didn’t disappoint, highly recommend giving it a try!

I really like that the devs made the victims blather and cry in English instead of going with the bog standard "mutated howls and groans" route. It makes it far more terrifying to hear them screaming in an insane panic as they flail around after you.
Now i will always associate the monster with scottish gollum when i play this.

Timestamps for what? Nothing stopping you from making your own.
You need to add a warning for very strong language. I’m sure a lot of kids watch your channel and this is not at all suitable for them. The C word is highly offensive, even to some adults.
