- Today we'll talk about Heartland Amber Marshall and Graham Wardle. We also know them as Amy Fleming and Ty Borden from the longest-running show on Canadian TV, Heartland.
Heartland Season 14 is actually kicking off with heartbreak, as one of the most beloved characters of the series, Ty Borden, played by Graham Wardle, has died in the Season 13 finale. The fact that Ty was the husband of the younger sister, Amy, played by Amber Marshall, and they had a little girl together, made this ending even more tragic. Now, we, the fans, have to overcome not only Ty’s death, who has been a true household name over the years but also witness Amy’s struggle in staying strong not only for herself but also for her daughter.

It would be nice if Graham wanted to come back in season 15 but I accept that he wanted to move on. I will certainly miss the relationship that Amy & Ty had as this was what kept the fans going through all the seasons.
I enjoy watching Ty and Amy that’s why I watch Heartland… With Ty gone it’s not the same but I’m happy we have 13 seasons to enjoy!

It would be good to see him come back because he was such a support to Amy as she was for her mother while working with the horses. I think according to the direction of the show Ty's support may have saved Amy life more than once. Even as the spirit he helps. I also think there relationship example was one to reference of what

Ty and Amy had such a dynamic partnership all these years with all the changes in people and relationships Ty and Amy were the anchor that keeps this show going strong. They are the constant that everyone looks to for the success of this show for all these years. They have a special quality that grounds the whole production because they have such close relationship that all viewers watching and praying for that special relationship that is most rare with actors these days. I have never seen anything like it anywhere. I pray that Ty will reconsider how much he and his character bring to heartland and his fans already see just how much he means to so many. I don’t want to see their magic end heartland for me and many others. Heartland for Ty. Love
Yes. Ty definitely needs to come back he also makes makes makes the show. It's just not the same as when he was here. Ty and Amy both made the whole show.

Yes bring back Ty. The whole dynamic changed in season 14. It did do a good job about showing about death and grieving. With Ty and Amy the show could go on for another 14 seasons. Or more.

I would love to see Ty's character come back, I understand that there are a lot of other characters on the show and each play very interesting parts, but I've been watching characters, Ty and Amy grow up on this show and pretty much Heartland's focus has been on these two actors, so for Ty's character to die off the show, it just kind of makes me lose interest in it. Sorry to all the other stars in Heartland; I think they are great but , it's just not the same...

@@susanthibodeaux7770 they could say that Amy was dreaming that none of it was real, it was like a night mare, that she wakes up from. If you remember Amy said she didn’t even remember that funeral . So that’s one way they could bring Tye back. Then end the season with a happy ending if they must.
Anything is possible in the movie business world, would be nice to end it in a happy note for sure!

The show is not the same without Ty his and Amy's Love story was not over. If she gets with someone else it wouldn't be the same they need to bring him back even though it's the only part-time

A série termina na 13a temporada, infelizmente !! A morte do TY não tem como seguir com a série. Porque não dizem logo a verdade que o ator não vai voltar na próxima temporada ? Se ele pediu pra sair, fim de conversa. A nova temporada o autor tem que ser bastante criativo, pois aguentar a neurótica da Lu, as ratadas do Tim, o sumiço da Cassandra e tudo mais que aconteceu na série, é muito complicado.

Verdaderamente Lu es insoportable .manipuladora.aprovechadora..Ni siquiera sé destaca por ser buena esposa y buena madre.Ahora que llego a Alcaldesa podría JUNTO a su ex montar una casa para su familia que nunca lo hizo y ya sería tiempo que desocupe el rancho del abuelo que no es su propiedad.Si es tan capaz y empresaria tiene que tener su casa de una vez y criar a sus hijas como corresponde.
Tim también es un personaje totalmente desagradable .Como Lu ambicioso por el dinero y que de a poco se introdujo en el rancho sin tener parte y pretende dirigir el trabajo y la vida de todos.El si podría desaparecer o irse de viaje con la fotógrafa que apareció en la temporada 14.

A Liu também muito mandona e estressada, a pior da série foi ela ter voltado de NY e assumido o comando de Heartland e não gostei do casamento dela com o Peter. Muitas falas na série, mesmo sendo apaixonante. O TY é a Amy comeram o pão que o diabo amassou kkk um casal que podia ter sofrido menos, por serem a essência da série. 👏👏👏

Acabou a magia, a alegria de assistir Heartland, apesar das boas participações de Lou e Tim, o romance de Georgie fica muito a desejar para suprir a falta do casal principal Amy e Ty, sem o Ty a série não é a mesma, ficou muito chata.

Ty is gone. It would lower the show’s viability to bring him back from a cremation. Graham and Amber should collaborate on another project!🙏🏻. Perhaps 🤔 a project ,that Other egos ,will not stifle Graham’s growth and artistic expression.
I dont agree with you and I'm sure a lot of viewers would agree with me. Bringing Ty back would definitely not lower the shows viability. We need this love story of Ty and Amy to be on going, it keeps our minds off of what is happening out there in the real world. This brings us happiness for that 40 or 50 minutes per episode
I loved the character of Ty but I wonder if many of the people wanting him to come back really are really Grahams fans,, i guess I'm a little more attuned to real life. The show has moved forward 2 years from Tys death but we as fans have only had a few months to get used to Tys death. Give us some time to grieve and we'll come around to wishing for Amy to find love. Art imitates life.
@@lindakunkel7643 I don't think fans will come around at all I think that's what heartland banking on but I dont think this will pass writers, producers have lost their writing focus and amber executive producer and heather konkie executive writer and producer are very close friends this is the way amber want this amber was one of the main reasons Graham left but now she seems to be suffering she doesn't look the same looks worried, stressed missing something like a feeling of guilt.
They did Graham wrong he was hurt very badly but being the man he is didn't say anything bad about heartland he can't just come back just like that the producers and amber have to swallow their pride thinking they can have a perfect show without him some admittedly to what they have done apologizing correcting the wrong some healing and making thinks right. I haven't seen a podcast from Graham lately I hope he is finally filming some where riverdale would be good for him hallmark or move to us he stated he know some producers here and friends with them amber ok now but the minute Graham get with someone else or a love scene she will go crazy don't get me wrong I like amber but she seems to be demonic against Graham my opinion dont slam me.

Eu entendo que a série terminou na temporada 14, quando Amy supera o luto pela perda de Ty. Ressuscitar Ty parecerá uma mágica que, na minha opinião vai tirar a beleza de Heartland.

When I read that the tv series pretty much follows the books, and Ty died in the book, I was okay with it. It wasn't just show writers writing out someone who wanted to leave.
Altho, having just lost my own husband, I couldn't watch it and haven't watched it since. Maybe someday I'll get back to it.

Pra mim essa série linda maravilhosa acabou na 13 temporada eu não assisto mais ja deixei várias séries por causa disso tirar o ator principal da série mas a culpa é da Lou, Tim Pitter e o marido da Amber eles foram os culpados da saída do Ty da série as viagens que ele fazia era pq ja estava tendo problema com os invejosos dos outros atores se o produtores soubesse que ia perder a audiência que a série perdeu e esta perdendo ainda tinha deixado esses três sai da série e tinha ficado com o Ty por o Graham é o que importa pra nós não esses três insuportável não gosto deles e acabou a série agora manda os 4 nojo ir assistir pra vê se da certo pra mim é adeussss

Also amber doesn’t have to leave the show cause Graham did, there are other real life story lines that can be played out in which they have started. (Single mother, grieving process ect)

I think the show is not the same without Ty. He was such a fabulous father and husband. He wanted to be a great Dad, and now he has left her just as Tim left Amy. I think the produ cers should offer him any amount of money and the chance to direct to get Graham to come back. Otherwise I think it will go out with a whimper with season 15.

I also wish Ty had not died. It is so tragic when a young, vital husband & father passes away.
I applaud Heartland for writing & directing this into the series.
Death IS part of life.
Grieving IS part of life.
Moving On IS part of life.
The fact that we ALL wish Ty had not died or could somehow miraculously be brought back to life, shows what a great job Heartland has done. Not a person in real life hasn’t felt EXACTLY those same emotions at the loss of a loved one.
Sad as I am about Ty’s death….I am equally excited to continue watching this great family show to see Amy and the rest of the cast heal. It may help many others out there find their way thru hard losses in their own lives.
I am the eternal optimist who believes Faith, Family, Friends and Love will always win!
@@ladanaram2134 that’s fair. First episode Amy’s mom dies rescuing the horse! It was so disturbing I almost never watched episode 2.
But thankfully I did. I saw how this show takes on some very tough topics…child abuse, etc. I don’t like to watch kids see their parents divorce, or addictions ruin families, or cancer … but it IS real life and Heartland has tackled ALL of these topics. No one says you have to continue to watch a show & many folks here say they won’t watch w/o Ty…that’s their choice.
I was just saying I am choosing to continue to watch this series even with storylines that make me sad, me because I appreciate how well they handle them. Each episode has been a teachable moment for our family for 14 seasons. This year a dear friend lost his battle with cancer & we are grieving that loss. My kids said they know how Amy feels! They are watching her & hopefully learning from her.
Jack losing Lyndy has taught Amy much about how to heal.
