I have a question with regard to restitution what happens if someone cannot pay the amount of restitution after they are released does it just follow them as death until they die? Do they have to go back to prison if they fail to pay all restitution I don’t understand it if people lose everything and they have a hefty amount of restitution to pay do they ever fulfill it?
I agree and I don't think if they were guilty why wouldn't they take the plea. They are standing on their innocence. There is something not right they deserve a another trial with another Judge. This should happen asap. Something just doesn't add up.
From Forbes: "...the Chrisleys and their accountant tried to obstruct IRS collection efforts, hide income, lied about their taxes, and in the accountant’s case, and even lied to the FBI and the IRS. Many tax cases settle with a plea deal on lesser charges, even criminal tax cases. But the Chrisleys went to trial, and lost in the face of government claims that they lied to get $30 million in bank loans and spent it on a lifestyle they could not afford. The jury believed prosecutors that the Chrisleys tried to hide their money from the IRS. Saying different things to your bank and to the IRS can be a major mistake. even The feds showed that they provided banks with false information such as personal financial statements containing false information, and fabricated bank statements when applying for and receiving millions of dollars in loans. Prosecutors said that the Chrisleys used much of the proceeds for their own personal benefit."
@HarvardLawyerLee -After what their lawyer disclosed to Entertainment Tonight on their confidence for the appellate court. Based on their argument, do you think they have a good chance on a new trial? However, I still didn't hear any evidence that proves their innocence. How long will it typically take before they hear?
I was not a fan of their reality show. We have learned it wasn't reality and obviously, Chrisley didn't know best. Can they come back after prison? The question that should be asked is can they learn their lesson? They haven't seem to admit any guilt, maybe time in prison will give them time to think. Let's not hold these felons up as anything other than criminals.
It's called "PAYING THE CONSEQUENCES OF MY ACTIONS." I feel more for the family, just as I feel for every other family that has a loved one in prison." The Chrisleys aren't special. They're frauds & liars. They don't know best.
Really? Was it .... "soooo sad for them" When they deliberately lied in order to steal .... 💰$3O Million Dollars I don't think the Crisleys were 😭boo whoing when they were living a life of luxury on stolen 💰. Ridiculous that there's people who actually feel sorry for these CRIMINALS! A B S U R D !!!
They are both going to pretty cushy prisons. Todd is very arrogant and refuses to admit wrong-doing so I think Todd will have a hard time adjusting but I think Julie will be ok.
I don’t think they are criminals I don’t think they should be in jail iam Jewish I don’t think they are criminals people do much worst and they are out
Your guest is spot on. Cont w their Appeals and denied by the court. Then it is time to move on both of them. Write 2 books 1 from Todds prison things. To Julie writes her book telling how she felt from day 1. Both could keep a Dairy of every day events. Then use money made off those books to pay back what the owed. Many things to turn a bad sitution into doing good. I think Todd is gonna be the 1 to break, due to he had control over every thing. Julie may adapt with the women. Survival is on attiude there reaction to CO'S & other inmates. I was a night shift nurse who knew the med, charge nurses position. Along crossed trained to do prisoners intake for jail. Time will tell.
They broke the law, have to pay the piper. That being said, there are so many and fatter fish that need to fry(so to speak). They need to start in Washington DC. Come on man, I want to see Hunter's receipts for rent to start with and his tax returns!
I disagree . If what they are accused of is true then they are exactly who needs to be in jail. White privilege, think they can do anything and get away with it and then don’t accept accountability.
Agreed, Look how they hounded Trump. Then we find out Hunter Bidden dealings w a foreign govt. This week they found Classified Documents in our Pres. Home . Kick is they knew before Nov. 2022 elections with held from public until recently?
Right now it's anyone's guess as to what effect their decidedly alternative accommodations will have, long term...short term will be dramatically impactful..just to start.
Good interview. I am sure they will make some sort of comeback. Bravo likes to have criminals on their shows, maybe they will create a show for them!?!
What are the chances that their sentences would get reduced on appeal?

yea im curious too
No, 12 yrs long time especially in reality tv time, no one will be into them as much ,I think . They seemed to lose their good character image,
I think their prison sentence was way too harsh with way too many years!

You can come back! You can be more than your mistakes, if you want it bad enough!
Always interested in what HLL says
Good advice Justin.

Trump must do prison after seeing this .
who cares, no one will remember them in 1 yr..
This is such a good interview.
I hope we never see them again.on tv
They will be home within 3⃣ year's and start their lives again and pray that Nanny Faye health will have improved 🙏 praying.
It's Federal charges . . . They have to do 85% of their sentences.
@@rochellej6412 I am praying for a miracle for them.
Who are they anyway? lol. Tougher sentences in US compared to UK. I don't think they'd get more than 5 years in UK if that.
Soooo sad for them

@@radium1977 hahaha!
Julie was sent to FMC Lexington at the last minute. She didnt go to the plush florida prison after all. The building is horrible looking.
@@Dana-xz5nb So what? Who cares where they go to prison? If they hadn’t committed serious crimes, they wouldn’t be there.
@@Dana-xz5nb ....
Ahhhhh 🥺 poor Julie, she has to sleep on a 4 inch mattress for the next 7 years.

how much retitution do they pay?
They were ordered to pay 17.2 million
Maybe his time in prison will give Todd the courage to strut out of that closet
Martha Stewart did her time! Now she popular in the Rapp game. Lol

Sure they can. People dont care. As long as the show is good

you take that back!
After Trump is held accountable.
And Trump in prison!
Too bad they were crooks, their show could be fun.
My ex used to enjoy watching that show. I wish she’d get locked up along with them 😝
Why can’t they just pay what they owe?
No , too much change will take place by the time he is released.
Were they offered a plea deal?
What ever. Who cares .
Why did they send Julie to Lexington at the last minute instead of Marianna. Was that a downgrade?
Physical and mental health facilities there.
Interesting
Yes they can!

Highly unlikely
I wonder how many years you know who will get?
Todd- 12, Jolene like 3
Julie got 7 years and Todd got 12 years. And both get 16 months probation after their 7 and 12 year in prison.
Yeah they can write books on prison from their psyche
Learn to pronounce senTence correctly. You went to Harvard!
Good they should of got more time! Could you imagine todd in prison don't drop the soap todd but then again he might like it lol
Horrible how people enjoy others suffering. Just remember your tax dollars r paying for their stay.
