What are the chances that their sentences would get reduced on appeal?

I have a question with regard to restitution what happens if someone cannot pay the amount of restitution after they are released does it just follow them as death until they die? Do they have to go back to prison if they fail to pay all restitution I don’t understand it if people lose everything and they have a hefty amount of restitution to pay do they ever fulfill it?

No, 12 yrs long time especially in reality tv time, no one will be into them as much ,I think . They seemed to lose their good character image,

I agree and I don't think if they were guilty why wouldn't they take the plea. They are standing on their innocence. There is something not right they deserve a another trial with another Judge. This should happen asap.
      Something just doesn't add up.

      From Forbes:
"...the Chrisleys and their accountant tried to obstruct IRS collection efforts, hide income, lied about their taxes, and in the accountant’s case, and even lied to the FBI and the IRS. Many tax cases settle with a plea deal on lesser charges, even criminal tax cases. But the Chrisleys went to trial, and lost in the face of government claims that they lied to get $30 million in bank loans and spent it on a lifestyle they could not afford. The jury believed prosecutors that the Chrisleys tried to hide their money from the IRS. Saying different things to your bank and to the IRS can be a major mistake. even The feds showed that they provided banks with false information such as personal financial statements containing false information, and fabricated bank statements when applying for and receiving millions of dollars in loans. Prosecutors said that the Chrisleys used much of the proceeds for their own personal benefit."

@HarvardLawyerLee -After what their lawyer disclosed to Entertainment Tonight on their confidence for the appellate court. Based on their argument, do you think they have a good chance on a new trial? However, I still didn't hear any evidence that proves their innocence. How long will it typically take before they hear?

I was not a fan of their reality show. We have learned it wasn't reality and obviously, Chrisley didn't know best. Can they come back after prison? The question that should be asked is can they learn their lesson? They haven't seem to admit any guilt, maybe time in prison will give them time to think. Let's not hold these felons up as anything other than criminals.

Your guest is spot on. Cont w their Appeals and denied by the court. Then it is time to move on both of them. Write 2 books 1 from Todds prison things. To Julie writes her book telling how she felt from day 1. Both could keep a Dairy of every day events. Then use money made off those books to pay back what the owed. Many things to turn a bad sitution into doing good. I think Todd is gonna be the 1 to break, due to he had control over every thing. Julie may adapt with the women. Survival is on attiude there reaction to CO'S & other inmates. I was a night shift nurse who knew the med, charge nurses position. Along crossed trained to do prisoners intake for jail. Time will tell.
