I usually don't like these modern additions to the Cthulhu mythos because the authors seem not to be able the replicate the same style or mood? But I must say that THIS story is awesome. Good job.
Wish we had more stories by Mr. E. H. Robinson these are some of my favorite stories read by sir Ian Gordon the greatest Lovecraftian narrator of all time! Really enjoying the Christmas series this year btw

That is very true. When we get a recording from him, I always keep pen and paper handy for any notes we might want to send back to him, but in this case, there were none. This is exactly how we received it from him, the first time.
SUPERB! Absolutely Incredible!! Ian's Narration and the Original/New "MYTHOS" Continuation.. IS A PURE DELIGHT! YOU HAVE A Friend of Ulthar and STRONG Dreamer ONBOARD! I'm READY! FOR WHATEVER YOU'VE GOT! And I Can't WAIT!
Great story, well narrated. Many mythos story feel either forced or trashy, some try too hard to imitate Lovecraft and others overload on references. This one had neither of those problems. And I gotta say, it also was strangely wholesome.
This was an incredible story. I enjoyed it very much. Plus one of my favorite narrator's read this tale. Thank you for uploading the story. Have a wonderful day Ian.
Isn't Ian great! It has been a pleasure to get to work with him. He also narrated Heath's short story "The Chamber of the Yellow King", which is right here: ruclips.net/video/CkGbImr9S6Q/видео.html He is also narrating all the excerpts from "The Encyclopedia Magika" as well. The playlist for that can be found right here: ruclips.net/p/PL_fueOtSSJc_-1FTQnYI2tqlqHZSq3qTI We will be releasing more videos he has narrated this year. In fact, he is working on narrating more scripts now!
He has also narrated my "Excerpt from the Libro Daemonia" and "The Prologue to the Life of Abdul Alhazred". Both are on this channel and be found in this playlist: ruclips.net/p/PL_fueOtSSJc_U-OMy5UKuo3an2hf_UXdT We will keep that playlist updated with "miscellaneous" passages from other in-universe Journey to the Tree of Sorrows texts that don't fit elsewhere. “H’bibi are you alright?” …..they just described him as practically half ripped in two…. NO HE’S NOT ALRIGHT!!!!!!!!😑😤 Fear can bring out the most illogical behavior outta people.. shit just…makes your brain short circuit… error…bzzzt! Bzzzt! Error 404! does not compute…bzzzzzt! algorithm too intricate.. too much information !! To process…at once bzzzzt!
This and "Chamber of the Yellow King" (ruclips.net/video/CkGbImr9S6Q/видео.html) are the only two short stories that I have on the channel right now. I want to write more though so we can get deeper into the story arc of the world.
Ok sa this is gonna sound awkard So I got here after reading a page online from an old newspaper printed in Mexico, the corner of this page caught my eye somehow; perhaps the title "The most forbidden book by the Vatcan" did the trick, I guess. (Somewhere along these lines, since the title was in spanish) So I read the 3 sentences visible, Al Azif, no infor on it, pushing me to look into it; 2 videos in I'm here. Now I have so many more questions than before, Habbibi somehow sounds too familiar of a name; almost like déja by, and such thing not in this life. Never have I met someone named Habbibi. So moving on to my next search........
The other short story we have up right now is "Chamber of the Yellow King" (ruclips.net/video/CkGbImr9S6Q/видео.html). We also have some shorter videos too - "An Excerpt from the Libro Daemonia": ruclips.net/video/F2VbKTMC58E/видео.html ; "Prologue to the Life of Abdul Alhazred" : ruclips.net/video/j_QMsRn_Fuw/видео.html ; "The Mark of the Necronomicon - History and Lore" ruclips.net/video/G5O5VF7BLeo/видео.html ; and "Sigil of the Dreamlands - History and Lore" ruclips.net/video/GtemjF-G4ec/видео.html I hope you enjoy!

ANYTHING TO DO WITH Cosmic Horror and IAN Gordon! SIGN ME UP!!! THANKS GUYS! AMAZING Piece of Work!
no words needed - amazing story only downside reading to the comments, are those sycophantic Ian FanBois. if you look for any story narrated by Ian Gordon - you'll probably find it by a better Narrator aswell. Dead and Soulless - that's how he sounds - and never manages to breath life, even into the most mundaine characters. Might aswell listen to a text-bot >_>
It would be “Abd Alhazrad”. Not Abdul. The -ul means the same thing as the Al- and wouldn’t be repeated. Lovecraft was ignorant of this, but we don’t need to be.
This story deserves to be a short film, or animated

Habibi means mi amor or honey or baby or sweetheart. In Islam.
