thanks man, I was looking for this video for a long time, my friend had the VHS tape back in the days, but he lost it in the early 2000's and I wanted to see this video again for a long time. cheers mate
13:58 That's my footy, Tim, you thief! But, really, McKinley was Koston without the megalomania and narcissism. Wish he never quit. *Also, I've had this video queued for years and blocked worldwide because of fox--how are you able to get a pass?
That’s the Venice pavilion aka the PIT… and no it does not exist anymore.. sadly. Was torn down back in 2000 because of all the crack and heroin that was sold in there.. mostly ran by Venice shoreline crips and Venice 13… if you go on the sand you can still see where they buried the tables. How did you not know that was Venice beach? I was able to go there as a little kid since my dad skated and did graff heavily from the late 80s till the mid to late 2000s.. also the hubba they were skating throughout the video was also at Venice which was also torn down.
Actually yeah you’re some what right, there are clips in this video that were in other skate videos at the time. But the original one is this one, he compiled all the lines he filmed of people and ended up just making a video out of it. But I’m pretty sure the first clip of Chris Roberts was in another video, and a few other people that were in here.
Damn Crob is pure butter in this
Rest Easy, Rob 💙

Skateboarding at this time just felt so right
One of my faves. Best soundtrack ever. Soothing.
Maybe the greatest skate video of all time?
Top 25 forsure
This video is amazing. I love the raw skate sounds. Some of those slams at the end too...damn!
Still got this shit on VHS
One of my favs 🎉
Ryan K was dope! R.I.P
Still got this one in VHS! Love the concept of it... too often the soundtrack takes away from the rawness of the skating
Not often at all.
Same here! Got this bitch
@@da1uheardabtyou’re trippen, raw skate videos are always the shit… a lot of dudes skated to wack ass music, especially in the mid 2000s till now.
Chris Swanson was sick. He was the only street hessian in LA at this time. He was a stylemaster
Im pretty sure ive seen this video over 100 times.
Merci, beaucoup de souvenir cool

Still got this bitch on VHS
Anybody know what Sad (5:44) is up to? I'd totally forgotten about that dude. Always skated with a bandana/towel in his back pocket or in his hand.
When I had an instagram I followed him… looks like he’s still skating and just smoking a shit load of bud. Looks like he lives alone in south central
@@marley1995 Yeah, I ended up finding him and following him on there, haha
11:18 ~ Mike as in Mike Carroll? ~ That left arm & hand posture on the 5-0 looks like Carroll but I can't say for certain lol
Yep! That whole section was Girl basically
NICE SOUNDS
MarcJohnson (bluntside kickflip out) with hair looks like Homer Simpson
14:05 RIP

I'm guessing because it's titled differently?
Wheres is the very first spot? That one full of graffiti? Still exists nowadays.?

@@marley1995just gotta dig up those pits. Some of the best lines went down in the graffiti pits.
Isn’t this just loads of footage taken from other videos?
No, this was all filmed by Tim dowling. All his original footage.
