Like knowing that she was depressed on her tour just changes my entire view point of it now?? But also knowing that she has come back stronger with Travis and seems to be happy now is better for me. Sad but also validating to watch that part. Used to happen to me all the time. He’d always completely ignore me in front of his friends and when I said something about it I was “being crazy” or “acting like a brat”. One time I had a friend pick me up and he didn’t even notice I was gone for quite some time and then got mad at me for leaving.

Its the fact that the argument in the kitchen was never supposed to be heard and Dylan and Sadie improvised it and said what the characters were feeling at the time and Taylor loved it that much she chose to leave it in! Really just shows the musical talent of Taylor and the acting and improvisation skills of Sadie and Dylan! 3 of my favourite people!

I love the motif with her hair. Any time she's with him alone, especially in the beginning she wears her hair naturally curly, which gives her a more youthful look. But whenever she tries to fit into his scene or impress him her hair is pin straight or styled more mature maturely. Almost like she looses her sense of self both physically and mentally. The scene crying in her bed hit hard when she had her hair pulled back in a pony tail with her natural hair texture.

Finally watched it in 2024 : I am crying.
Part of what makes this work so well is Sadie has this "every woman" vibe about her. She could be your daughter, your little sister, your niece...even yourself at that age. Just very relatable and likable...hard to put my finger on it.

I’d kinda always been a casual Taylor fan, always standing at the tipping point, but this really swept me off into her music and I’m pretty sure I’m falling for her now, lol. I realise that people who don’t prefer her music don’t really connect or understand the songs, actual emotion & messages behind her works. Each piece of hers has a depth to it, with a story swirling among her works- a whole journey to be expressed. Most of her songs have that quality, and that’s what makes it a masterpiece. The thought, effect, intricacy and pure feeling she puts into her stuff… it’s incredible, really. I knew people deemed her a lyrical genius, but I understand that now.

HARD SAME. im not a hardcore fan of anyone, really, but ive always loved songs by taylor swift. her songs have been in my playlist since in my teen years, it;s her songs i always play in the guitar during lunch breaks at school, and seeing her music evolve, especially now, is just... WOW. this era is what sealed the deal for me. she's not just an amazing artist and storyteller, she's also very inspiring and empowering. she takes us to rollercoaster of emotions and lessons. i'm totally here for it, with no plans of getting off the ride!!
