Pride Month takes place every year in June. It honours the Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan, USA, which happened in 1969. Considered a pivotal moment for LGBTQ+ civil rights, Pride Month is celebrated in June to mark how far the movement has come and what still needs to be done to help ensure fair treatment for all without discrimination.
