Marie, the uglier the beet, the better tasting they are. If you have enough beets, put on surgical gloves, peel the beets with a potato/vegetable peeler, cut in large wedges, spread on a large piece of foil, add a little olive oil, sprinkle with Kosher or sea salt, close the foil tightly. I then roast them in the oven at 400°F for about 45 minutes or until tender. You could do them on your coal fire. They are delicious hot or cold as the natural sugar becomes concentrated. Restaurants serve them with goat cheese. I love them with young arugula leaves. Fabulous!

Hope your beets germination be great you no I had some white and also orange zinnias and the remaining seeds just wouldn’t germinate at all don’t no if they got too old, you no you can’t sow all of everything because you have to have the space to transplant,see you next time ❤❤

Beetroot is a compound seed it has more than 1 seed inside
Still they could put a few more in the packet
Rabbit manure attracts a lot of ants .your garden is fruitful
Every manure attracts ants
Each beetroot seed will give you 3-4 plants
