Just bought Metroid Zero Mission & Fusion on my Wii U. Last time I turned on my Wii U was in 2018!
I did the same thing. Last time I played them was 2 years ago. I should play them again.
Metroid prime will forever be me favorite. The graphics on that still hold up today. For the time, the visuals were ground breaking as the Mario 64 jump
From inside my heart I know that Metroid Prime 4 will come one day. Samus Aran is the best and most badass heroine in the world.

I miss Metroid Am2r is the second best metroid that I've played in my entire life. I think the fans made a great job with it.
The jump from 1991 to 1994 was pretty crazy.
It's kind of a shame, I played the original on NES but I was like 4 and it was wayyy too hard for me. Just completely beyond my level lol I could handle Mario but Metroid was a different animal. The Legend of Zelda as well (NES).
Point being it made me COMPLETELY sleep on metroid and it actually made me want a genesis instead of a SNES, because my logic was "oh, zelda and metroid are what everyone talks about...I don't think I liked those much, too hard and confusing" and I didn't care about DKC (aesthetically, didn't like the monkey thing, came off as cutesy, *face palm*) so for like, the dumbest of reasons I ended up missing out on some serious gems for like 15 years.
Didn't even like Zelda until N64. Someone had to show the SNES ones before I'd realized what I'd done lmao
Great job, only missed out on some of the best games of the generation lol

Super metroid came out wayy too late in 94 ps1 dropped 95, it should of came out in 92 right after they dropped part 2 for the nes it would of been bigger than it is today, the investors really messed up that 1 like they was scared it would of been perfect timing

Checked the games because of the new announcement and tons of comments about how people can't wait for the game. Let me say - wow, what an uninspired mess. It screams dullness. You guys need to raise your standards.
@Aditya I both visuals and gameplay seem uninspired. Maybe it laid some foundaition but boy, did the successors of this genre made it 10x more appealing.
I think you need to raise your eyesight cuz it sounds like you have 20/200 vision
