I am torn on whether to go for an 1100GS or 1200GS. I used to own an R850R but sold that and bought a Triumph Thunderbird 900 which is too nice to ride in the winter.
What made you buy the 11?

For me the 1100 was the perfect choice because of the price point. If you’re going to use it as a second bike in wintertime, I think the 11 is the best!

And also, if you go for a 1200, you should go for a 2008 and up if I remember correctly. The earlier models have a flawed abs system. Which makes the price difference between a good 1100 and 1200 even greater
