ONYA Mate, but...Please, if you can, please insert the station name somewhere on the screen so that us 'former' Steak&Kidney types will be able to see where you are.....Cheers ,,, Griffo, Perth.

Sydney trains vlog I suscribe
Nice to see the train driver acknowledge you and give his lights a flash as he approached you at 4:05...
The fastest train had to be K98 at 5:39. Not even the speed of light could keep up with that K set. Unbelievable.
I know so fast!!!
I went to Bunnings such speed!😂😂
Damn
how do you mean i saw nothing?
It is K98
At 5:38 I swear the train nearly broke the sound barrier 😳💨
The variety of trains in Sydney’s Intercity networks is vast, and I suppose NIF D-Sets will be quite fast. Great video and thumbnail!
5:38 fastest train you’re welcome
So fast
You can barely see the train its going so fast!
Frickin scary mate
Toby1kenobi ikr faster than a truck
Train: i am speed
The trains can go faster. The issue is the tracks in NSW
Correct-NSW has too many bends (straighter routs=faster trains!:)
Yes China trains are faster than that.
@@wendycai2367 it’s also an issue with the type, of tracks, what they are on, that’s why the limit for any track no matter how straight is 160km/h
Steve Han what does that have to do with Australian trains
Omg its JackUltraMotive lol (no offense)
From the other side of the world, UK, I congratulate you showing the many different types of trains Australia has . A beautiful watch.
Thank you so much for watching mate! 😊
all the trains you see in this video are only used in Sydney, only Sydney uses double decker trains. Other cities in Australia use different trains and they are not shown in this video, so this video is only showing trains in Sydney specifically, not the whole Australia.
have a look at melbournes variety
The unmistakble sound of "The next train does not ...." Nice compilation. These hit 100 kph around Rhodes if I'm not mistaken
Great video! Always fascinating to see trains from Down Under :)
Hi Phil! Being from Canada it's always nice to see the trains from Assie Land. Since you and your fellow commenters can't possibly see all of the train videos I'd like to pass along the names of some vids that you may really love. 1) 4K Passenger Trains Galore, and 2) - 4K Freight Trains Galore (posted by: trainfart). These two vids have great Swiss scenery. 3) 4K Quadcopter Train Video of Rockville Bridge (posted by: Super Trains). Super Trains also has many more vids worth checking out. 4) Canada: Trains Through Black Canyon - British Columbia and, 5) Canada's Canyon's - Trains Through The Thompson River Canyon (posted by: SantaFe5811), along with his many other neat vids. Enjoy and take care!
😢😢😅
Phil...here's a suggestion that many o/s commenters might like and perhaps make them want to visit more. What about a video that shows some of the brilliant scenery we have.....even within two hours out of Sydney. Some remarkable vision around the Hawkesbury and especially around Scarborough and Stanwell Park.
another excellent Video Phil, keep up the good work
Such a fantastic video here ☺️☺️ great one
Excellent concept and great video. Thank you.
Oh this is fantastic! Just makes me want to visit.
+MKT Transport Video Thank you :)
I already love here but in victoria
Great Video my friend... All the best from Romania❤🚂❤🚂
Great video Phil, keep up the great work
Thank you Jennifer! :)
I hope you’re going well!
@@sydneytrainsvlogs Geoff and myself are going well, still travelling around NSW, I stay in contact with Travis regularly 😀🚄
I've been on a XPT ( if you don't know what what train that is, this is what it looks like: 0:53) from Taree to Newcastle.
I have been on that particular XPT at 0:53 to Bathurst
I think the Newcastle Flyer hauled by 3801 set the speed record for Newcastle to Sydney way back in 1964...just under two hours and five minutes..
Excellent video and at least the trains are safe and slow!
i used to think australian trains went so fast until i went to the uk, great vid
They can go faster it’s just the rails, Plus the japanese bullet train is faster than UK trains and trains must slow down when passing a station.
The story of the xpts:
XPT: IM SO FAST HHAAHAHA SONIC
Hunter set: ;( I'm only 2 cars
Fright train: hahahahhaa hunter I'm like 34 cars long (estimate)
V set: I'm bored
NIFD set: allow me to introduce myself
Xpt: I'm so fast
Avelia liberty: hold my airhorns.
Eurostar: Finally.. a worthy opponent. Our battle will be legendary.
Pendolino: NO DONT DO IT
Class 374 Eurostar e320: Brother.. Shut up. im better.
Maglev Train: I am faster than all of you
Beautiful Australian trains
Beautiful trains with easy watching video
Thank you :)
Thanks!
Thank you so much mate!
Your support is greatly appreciated 😊
You should go to elimbah in QLD where the tilt trains go past at 160
I plan to visit there one time in the holidays
dan b
It's EMU 83 Nah they still should
It's EMU 83 i've been on a tilt train going through and they show the speed they are going inside and it always says 160, even sometimes 162
7:27 ive been on that exact XPT before
Great videos.really enjoyed
Great compilation mate 😎
Beautiful miss traveling in Sydney rail to Gordon from Homebush
Great video
If you are going to get back to Vic, there is a great spot in Ballarat East to get the trains going through quite fast, as speed limit there is 160km/h. Right opposite Ballarat Secondary College East Campus.
I noticed the other day that there are new display screens as minimurra on the south coast. I never have time to stop. Could u check them out?
I've been on some Oscars, that were Hamilton expresses, they
have a pretty fast run (100+ km/h) generally between Eastwood and Strathfield,
maybe get some of those faster ones when you're in that area next...
at 130 in them, the seats violently shake between dapto and albion park, line speed 145
Mitchell Theobald They do that sometimes at high speed...
My opinion: They're a pretty good train other than that shaking... I think West Ryde is one of a few places Phil should of included.
D Mack i catch them every day to uni. stay in the quiet carriage and you dont hear a thing, not even wheel noise.
Mitchell Theobald I'll try that next time I'm on one,
Agreed with Eastwood to Strathfield - especially around Rhodes. Woy Woy tunnel to Woy Woy station is faster. Express from Gosford to Tuggerah gets up there too. But the rest of the Central to Wyong trip is pretty slow going.
Could you please do Part 2? This time at Sector 2 areas (T2 Inner West & Leppington, T3 Bankstown and T8 Airport/East Hils & South Lines)? Especially on the East Hills Line. But include Sectors 1 and 3 too.
You need to do a vlog on the South Coast Line (Wollongong, Kiama, Bomaderry
Great video.
Thanks for all the videos of all over the place. I think you started and finished at Tara was it? I managed to catch a few of the station names.
cool train video!
In the UK,our version of the hst will be retired by 2021, as replacements have started entering service earlier this year
Its with scotrail nowa
Marvelous video
Nice weather you have there over here, England it's freezing cold
freezing cold is much better than boiling hot
i love trains but even more i love the double trains or the fast trains or the overnight ones
I love your videos
up to 170km/hr near Henty, The Rock NSW at times was told...Sprinters in Vic 120 max
Enjoyed the video from Canada
Thank you for watching :)
Terrific catches!
😆😄😂😆😄 ...the Australian way of "speed" I guess.
WOW!!! Cool speed.
5:38 yea cool speed
Nice! I like it
most of the trsins in nsw are lucky to reach 110km.. qld tilt trains reach 160km
what destination has that XPT trough Meadowbanks? Brisbane?
I’ve made my own RUclips channel of trains and it all started off because you thank you
I think you edited the fast ones out. Nice videography though and the weather was pleasant to see.
Yay I saw the Bathurst Bullet!
Hi Great Vid :)
beautiful.
Greattt work man
Some of the horns sound like ones you would get in the uk.
you caught a lot of the older EMUs! I think they look better than the newer ones (But not the type at 6:48!)
Good video👍👍👍
gaming geek yep
Stood under a train in Queensland last week
Great trains at speed video! Where are the stations you filmed?
Absolutely amazing👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍and I will give this video a 10 out of 10 good work. keep up the awesome work!!!!!*****************************************
Which station are you now
Do you have a speed gun? It would be interesting to know the exact speed.
Looks like at 4:34, the track on Platform 3 at Thornleigh, has quite a few dips and seems to need track maintenance. I guess the stress of many fast passing trains xD
Why train never use P1 then
What's the speed running an avarage passenger this train?! Tks.
Ibrahim good morning! you have the times yesterday from a little bit of an email from you tomorrow morning?
Trains at Speed - Australia but its slowed down a lot.
Nice Trains
Good...video...
The thing is, you can't film a "Trains at Speed" video somewhere, where there are no fast trains.
+Bahnspotter they are at speed sorta
BahnSpotter you can say that becuase have you been here have you seen the trains they are fast
Joe Conway correct
They go faster in real life trust me
for me trains above 65 are "at speed" 110 is high speed 186 very high speed
'Trains at speed these trains a slower than a tortoise
HST looks like it on first one and hst lot group of them in Scotland and England
I subscribed
The 7th one goes to Tamworth then goes NewCastle first then sydney
Why trains have very less number of coaches???
Transport Sydney Trains zipping more quietly like young lady :D.... thumbs up
Hi Phil just wanting to know when the new d sets will be in service
2024
Like the xpt they just like the class 43 that pass me in the uk everyday
That's cos' it's based on the 43 ;)
Lol not anymore you got shit Japanese tin cans passing you now.
The power cars of the XPTs are slightly modified from the HST; amongst mechanical changes is a reduction in power as the lines would not take the speed of an XPT. The passenger carriages are totally different.
Nice Video i'm from Germany:)
what website do you use to find the trains example locomotives
Anthony Smith like where does he know where to go and where each train is going and when it’s coming
Wow so beautiful my dear friend I'm from India 🇮🇳🙏🙏🙏
Trains at... speed? I wanna live in Australia. Must be a cosy, slow life there.
What happened to V6’s wiper 6:29 😂
I was at WARNAVALE 3 days later🙂
WARNERVALE....after Mr. Warner.
It's a shame we'll never get high speed rail in australia. If we had high speed rail, you could go from brisbane to sydney in under 4 hours.
Ur the best
I subbed!
+Hazel101 Thank you :)
Why are the trains not stopping at the station?
Probably theyre express???
interesting they must have notched up the speed of the trains
1:40 and 1:52 what kind of trains were they? I never saw them around my area when I was living in Sydney
At 1:40 was a Hunter Rail Car (J set) which if you couldn't guess run on the Hunter Line (Probably why you don't see them in Sydney) and at 1:52 was an Endeavour which run on the Southern Highlands, Hunter Line and run the "Bathurst Bullet" (out to Bathurst). The reason why you don't see them is because they generally leave early in the morning and/or early to late evening.
Sydney City Transport Vlogs okay well where were u when u wanted to record those freight trains? Remember U were sitting under a bridge right?
I don't know what u r talking about...
The biggest countries have the slowest train; Canada, U.S., Russia, Australia, Brazil, with the exception of China. There is something wrong with that.
Our major cities in Australia are so far apart that unless there's a good reason, we fly. In the video, the so-called intercity trains are actually going to minor towns in the same state (NSW), and invariably take longer than driving. The XPTs go further, but take an absurdly long time, and are not much used - you might have noticed how short they are. Every now and then, the idea of building a true high-speed line down the east coast (Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne) is floated, but the economics never seem to stack up. Sydney to/from Melbourne is one of the densest air routes in the world, but at 900km apart, building a railway that people will use instead of flying is difficult.
Juan Garcia Some of the Russian trains go over at 150 mph at their cruising speed and the others go at 125 mph so they aren't that slow
It's cheaper to fly between capital cities in Australia
There is nothing wrong with slower trains. High speed trains increase suction and are dangerous when speeding through platforms. Their high speeds can suck a child standing on the platform, killing it. Try high speed trains in tunnels, feel the air being vacuumed or pushed out. Plus, in Australia temperatures reach up to 45C and at that heat the bogies bearings can heat quite high if they're rolled at high speeds fully loaded, resulting in early seizure and lack of grease from overheating, especially more if they're subjected to all that clanking (7:28) which further increases wear and tear from additional hammering to the bearings.
Lol ur wrong, there is a Russian train called the sapsan and its fast AF. I understand ur point of Australia though, because qld rails fastest only goes 140 km/h, the same as the Netherlands COMMUTER trains. lol. Imagine that. Australian high speed is dutch commuter speed! XDDDDS
Are all the trains air conditioned in Australia? if the windows are permanently closed, how would the passengers inside bear the heat in summers?
yep, the trams are too.
Sydney trains have always had it since the 80s. Excluding the S sets, dubbed "sweat sets" which had fixed windows AND no aircon
the sydney one is the tall double one
It can reach up to 215 kilometers per hour.
i subscribed
Wish the Inter cities were replaced with something sexier like Victoria's V/Locity DMU's.
Do it with 2X speed! The trains are at the speed I like!
