- Brand new mix from the original multitracks. I first heard this as a kid back in the 1970s (yes...) when a radio station used to play the entire long version. I became a Donna Summer fan immediately! I hope you enjoy this new mix and the video!

I remember the 45rpm came out then the 12" extended. It was 1975. I was 14 yrs old...I was sold!
She and I have had this relationship ever since.
I finally got to meet her in 1999, at the Beau Rivage Casino in Biloxi Mississippi. I'll never forget her!!

Bonne orchestration de Giorgio Moroder, le plus grand arrangeur de la période disco. Chorale à la hauteur. La guerre du Vietnam a pris fin et la jeunesse dans le monde aspire à vivre et profiter du temps. Une autre époque où les relations entre filles et garçons étaient plus franches et simples. I love how her voice is isolated and crystallized here and you can hear it so well and see what an incredible voice she had and how she switches from a hoarse type voice to a high-pitched thin voice to a combination of somewhere in the middle ..her voice was so good something you haven't seen in 30 years

this remix should have been out 40 years ago in 1982 it sounds so good and does not have the juvenile sounds of more recent remixes.

12:03 that backup singing is just stupendous it is so spaced out and psychedelic and shows that Donna was a product of the late 1960s psychedelic era.. she went to see Janis Joplin she listened to Jefferson airplane records and this backup singing is so spaced out a progression of the 1960s era psychedelic music except it was done by a black female and made into dance music
I didn't know what to expect and thought it was going to be a tamed down version, but I got exactly the opposite with more over the top eroticism than the 1975 original. I ain't complaining, but kids, cover your ears. I'm glad I stayed for the duration........great version.

Most, if not all, vocals she recorded she did in ONE BLOODY TIME, hence her nickname 'One Take Donna' in the field. Amazing woman. Loved her to death in the 70's. Huge huge crush. Became famous in my country (The Netherlands) before her big breakthrough.
