Superb again Jason! I just donated something for all the lessons.
Awesome, thank you so much for your support! Will continue to give my best for the channel! And thoroughly enjoy what I do thanks to all of you folks out there!
You're welcome Jason. I've still got such a long way to go, but I've got the foundation thanks exclusively to this channel. I understand everything, I'm just lacking a bit in the mechanical execution department at times, but I'm sure I'll get there in the end; and even if I don't it's still fun trying and learning. Keep up the good work!
I would love to follow
Thanks for your support!
awesome
I was just getting into using your teachings and applying them to 5string banjo (great for that) but I cut through my hand when a grinder wheel disintegrated severing the tendon on my index.
They tell me I will play again so I’m catching up.
I love how you teach us how to be a musician
Thanks Jason.
Damn! Sorry to hear! Even I love playing the 🪕 from time to time! What a beautiful instrument. Take care of yourself!
@@nathanielschool thanks Jason I’m onto doing physio at the moment and mobility seems to be slowly returning, I hope I regain full movement.
Keep up the brilliant work!
Would be nice if I could get you to critique my banjo compositions sometime 😁
Now I want to learn Piano. Its so compelling....
Awesome! You should head over here: www.nathanielschool.com/keyboard
Floating third needs a comprehensive video in itself....that is to say how floating third could be used in rhythmic accompaniments across various genres
Sure thing Rajarshi! Will consider a future lesson on this!
GM. Super bro
Thanks for watching, Ruban! 🙏🏼
This video series is a godsend for me. To be honest, I was playing some pretty boring arpeggios on my tracks, and although I love incorporating more rhythmic melodies onto them, as taking drum patterns from middle-eastern music, Samba, etc... and applying to melodies, as if the instrument track was a percussion track, I didn't make the logic conclusion that the same could work with arpeggios.
The other nice thing is that since you are working with arpeggios, It's quite easy to make a counter-melody work in counterpoint with the arpeggio itself. By treating the arpeggio and root note as a 3rd species counterpoint, it's not hard to implement other voices, since you are somewhat limited with the choice of notes by the arpeggio.
Glad you enjoyed the lesson! And great suggestions on the counterpoint 🙏🏽
Nice video. ❣️❣️❣️
Thanks 🤗
👋👋👍
You are great sir
Thanks a lot, Viju!😊
Bro staff notation usefullah bro
Shall we learn it
Where it is applicable?
Does it is used in Cinema industry ?
Hi, good morning. Very interesting, informative and innovative lesson. May be you should also come out with another major or minor chord, with any Indian rhythm pattern.,,🙏❤️
Great suggestion Krishna! Will figure this out!
There is a song sung by Shri Yeshudas. The film did not release. But all the recorded music of the song came out as cassettes. Those were the days of cassettes. The song is known as "Sangeethame Amara Sallapame". Sangeetham as a conversation (Sallapam) that is immortal (Amar, Amara - that has no death). I request you to listen to this song. It has a combination of Indian classical and contemporary rhythms blended together. When you have time please listen to it once. I have been listening to various types of songs after you suggested it in one of your tutorials. And I chanced upon this once after I wrote the suggestion to you recently.
And while exploring the G minor scale as you had explained, I bumped into some old Bollywood film songs. ,🙏❤️
My hands just can't span a full octave like yours (holding specific notes in between), without significant wrist rotation, which makes playing G and D @6:00 nearly impossible. But you taught enough variation that I'll experiment with other notes in the scale. The overall lesson makes me want to explore this technique with other chords/scales. Thanks!
Most welcome Dan. You can also arpeggios the chord so that your wrist can take you a little extra
Super
Thanks for watching, Alan! Cheers! 🤘🏽
Beginner pianist here. Some of the stretches are very wide for me. I barely manage to play it. Should I keep trying or your hands are just bigger than me. An excellent lesson and has opened my eyes on how to approach arpeggios. Lots of hard work ahead I guess.
Awesome Sabyasachi! Go for it!
U r best
Thanks a ton ❤️
EXCELLENT JAIPUR
Thank you, Tichmarsh 😃
Sir,
Do I need 88key or 61 key to become an advanced piano player
88 keys are always recommend for serious Piano playing 😀

I’m not sure if you teach music online to a learner abroad?
Of course we do Saman. Please write to music@nathanielschool.com with your requirements. Also, leave us your WhatsApp number and a convenient time. We will reach you and take forward!
Please make your letter a little bigger,it's not easy to read, but I like your teaching,I'm your student, thank you.
I will improve on that point, Danilo! Thanks so much for your feedback and taking your time to watch the tutorial as well😁🎶
Sir i joined and pay rs/159/-but not any messege from the music school
There is no message as such. For the higher tier, you will get access to structured video lessons
I can use that on anime epic legend story
That's like Jay! Go for it 🤘🏽
Ah right, when we have five fingers why use only 1 finger? Thank you sir for this awesome lesson again.
You're most welcome!
Sir tamil class give me
love the content ! but PLEASE !!! >> keep the mic 8 inches away from you ! all I'm hearing is p-p-p-ick up a penguin from you - liked and subbed - even though 🙂
Thanks! And apologies. Missed the micing for this lesson
Bro u need to be singing .. was this a indirect way of you showing your amazing voice
I sing in all the lessons. It helps convey the melody and harmony a lot better and isolates some elements from the piano. Also, have been singing for a long time.
