Silage 2023 - The Recap

I think it's fair to say we've seen some variety of machinery over silage season 2023 - here's a short recap of all that we've captured! Tell us in the comments what your favourites are? The 10 series stuff is an obvious highlight but it's hard to disapprove of any of it!

The Leyland buckraking brought back memories of driving our neighbors 270 and twose buckrake back in the early 90s great oul bus

@@OldSchoolNI indeed it was mid you because they had good ground clearance they could fairly climb the silo used a Nuffield 1060 too fine machine 👍

Superb round-up of this years grass harvest. Some lovely old classics and more modern outfits in action. The Leyland 272 on the buckrake lifting the front wheels up takes me right back to my teens while the Massey 390T on the Tarrup trailed forager goes to prove 90hp is all you need. Hope to see more great videos in 2024, all the best, David

Highlights for me this year have been the McMullen MF 6290 on the trailed forager (what a sound!), Claas green Valtra Valmet on the buckrake,2wd Ford 7710 on the rake and the NH FX48 with the Ford 7610 leading off it. Basically all the modern classics!

Thanks David, appreciate all the comments this year! There isn't much not to like to be honest but the MF6290 sound did seem to be a hit, that said we are still firmly in the blue camp! :)
