Ngl I like this new L and light but the demo are my faves they just got people whose voices match 1000/10, and I oiked the background music better in the demo too but that’s probably because it wasn’t live
I still like this one tho
Yeah but the Light demo voice was Jeremy Jordan and he's a very busy man :/
If we don’t get a cast album, I will RIOT
Don’t worry, we are. Also, the musical twitter recently posted that if you sign up to their website, you’ll get early access, so it must be soon!
@@EthanKirsch. omg whats the twitter

@@EthanKirsch. Oh nice 😊
All the performances were incredible! I wish they had chosen to do a different L/Light duet tho
hopefully we'll get much more of the 2 of them in the future!
Haven't been a fan of Death Note in the past, but this music sounds really good! Didn't know Adam Pascal was in this show.
He was in the London Concert version from last year, which is currently working on a new concept album called Death Note The London Concept album which is to be released by Ghostlight Records in the very close future.
Light is played by Joaquin Pedro Valdes, not Jeremy Jordan like the 2015 concept album only released on RUclips unofficially.
Bro!!!! That was amazing !!!!! Literally I’m mesmerized
this is incredible
Awesome 👏🏾
thank you for sharing
of course!
Ashley Loren gave me chills.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
so will this musical go to west end or broadway?
It had a limited run in the West End at the London Palladium on August 21st and 22nd and then at the Lyric Theatre on September 7th to the 10th. While there is an concept recording of this production on the way, there is no word of this show coming to New York yet.
I'm not sure if this is still an issue, but I believe Netflix has the rights, so it makes it really hard for them to do the musical in the U.S. That being said, I think this show would find success off broadway over broadway
@@tschuh191 I don’t think there would be an issue with the show moving to New York interfering with Netflix’s Death Note series since both Death Note entities would be different from one another, especially since this musical predates even Netflix’s Death Note 2017 movie by two years. I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure Death Note: The Musical has a different rights holder than Netflix.
@@theassortedhobbyist i dont know all the legalities, i just remember awhile ago someone asked if DN would come to the US, and one of the creators (Ivan Menchell i think) said it would be very difficult since Netflix owns the rights. Now what Netflix should do is instead of doing a sequel movie, help produce a filmed stage production of the show and just make it a Netflix exclusive.
@@tschuh191Film rights are different from stage rights, Netflix can't really do anything to stop a musical as far as I know. Broadway productions are just incredibly expensive and very difficult to make succeed
OK but where's Jeremy Jordan lol
Jeremy Jordan is only on the 2015 concept album of this musical, he has no involvement in the recent productions in the West End.
He is currently is in The Great Gatsby musical at the Papermill Playhouse!
@@solagovideos I'm aware but he sings it so darn well LOL
@@TeamAquaLeaderArchyTRUE THO but i still love Joaquin Pedro Valdes
