Don't worry about my solemate 👟 I'll still need single shoes for when I'm not wearing the leg 😊

Okay, my prosthetist needs to get with yours on how to cover the butt of the socket to be soft. Sitting on hard chairs is such a literal pain in my butt! I cover my thigh cushioning that I do have in legging fabric, too. I tend to wear through mine within a couple of months because my foam only covers my "femur" pylon up to the hip. Wearing pants/shorts over mine is such a freaking hassle that I wear my leg, Lucille, over the top of my hemmed pants. I get a lot of stares, but I'm comfortable, so that's all that matters. Love your metallic, robotic look!

Can the legging cover be swapped out? I think getting a custom fabric cover with robot/mechanical parts would look so cool! You could get holiday themed with it too~ So fun! 😊✨

So cool! I don't like when fabric matches or almost matches my skin tone, uncanny valley!

Exactly. Very few prosthetic artists can make it out of the uncanny valley

That prosthetic leg is so awesome! My wife overheard some of it and I was explaining who you are and we watched the update video from a year ago… the pain must have really gone away if you can walk wearing a leg. What made you decide to get a leg? I remember video of you talking about the benefits of crutches…

I'd been wondering, are the new prosthetics more comfortable to wear for extended periods?

I’m always in awe at how our prosthetists can trace our bum or legs so that we still look equal on both sides, great hack using the leggings so you don’t have to have the ‘tan’ foam look and risk it getting ripped all the time. I don’t have the foam anymore 🦿 but I’m always in awe with them being able to quickly carve and shape the foam from a big block into a leg that matches the look of our meat leg 🦵🏻 I swear prosthetists are Jedi’s 🤗🙌🏻🦿🙌🏻🤗
