    Not unusual. Shaking the Big Island. 😆

    Thanks for the update...Manaloa has expanded about 1.5 meters this year according to the U.S.G.S. (Here in Hilo) It would be cool if you could do a story on that.

      Not to sound stupid but expanded to what or by what? What the significance?

      @@d.c.3220 I'm aware of the dynamics. A 1.5 meter expansion is enormous. The last hundred plus years has been an extremely active period geologically and it's being downplayed as normal and not unusual. Governments and other authorities are hiding this because the public as a whole are irrational. If a catastrophic event is imminent it would cause a chaotic response in the general population. That I understand. Alot of the information is watered down and minimumized because hysteria is how large groups of people react. Space weather significantly affects the planets and we are experiencing enormous effects that can be observed on all the planets in our solar system. Earth's magnetic poles are moving and have weakened by 25% since 1859 after the Carrington coronal ejection event of that year. The process has been increasing since then with an imminent polar reversal in the near future. This is an objective science that can be observed and not some subjective psuedo science like climate change caused by human interference which is negligible of less than 1%. "Settled science" is something only ignorant and stupid people embrace and is an emotional and irrational position. Anyway people are going to do what they have done for ten thousand years. History is not on our side. Don't take this personal because it's not meant to be. I'm old and my appreciation of humanity has decreased as the years have passed. LOL

    Do hurrucabe force winds cause earthquakes and volcanoes?

  • @d.c.3220
    @d.c.3220 Год назад +2

    Remember, the BIG ISLAND is made up of two active volcanos with THOUSANDS of smaller earthquakes per year normally. A bigger quake could mean a pending eruption event soon from Kilauea.

    • @stonew1927
      @stonew1927 Год назад

      Kilauea has been in an eruption phase for over a year and a half. Geologists are concerned about Mauna Loa now given the swarm of earthqukes under its crater summit and along the rift zones.

      @@stonew1927 -Will be interesting to see what happens over the next few months. The last eruption of Mauna Loa in 1984 had 3 years of quakes preceding the event. A 6.6 magnitude about 5 months prior was the biggest. Residents need to be on alert.

      @@d.c.3220 Interesting. Thanks for the trivia. Our island actually has 3 active volcanos. Hualalai being the third.

    Alright I need to put my input in you all know that North Korea has been shooting off their missiles you also know that China has been sending off their missiles it's OK special China sending off their missiles over Japan I mean Taiwan in Taiwan or Japan anyway that's on the Pacific side so when you have that eruption of those missiles going down into the sea walls of the sea basically down in the the floorboard Of the sea it's only disrupt magic magitude of disruption Sort of like a wave you cannot see so it's to be expected for them to get that I'm surprised it hasn't eruit has an erupt because of the sea floors
