My name is Kendra (my government name), but I’m also known around the Black Manosphere as DJ Fish Grease. They want struggle love. I moved my girlfriend to Chicago. We had a son by me. She never had to work or even buy her own clothes. She played like she was going back to Ohio when my son was 3 years old. She never came back. She called me and told me she found someone who was just like her. A woman beating drunk. Every man after that was a drunk woman beater and the last man almost killed her. I'm glad she left.

I remember another church video where a woman claimed that there were no available men and as soon as she said that, the pastor told the single men in the congregation to stand up and almost the whole church was full of men that stood up! It wasn't that there were no suitable men, it was the fact that there were no men that fit her criteria (i.e. the three 6s). Meanwhile, she was masculine and overweight!

I stopped going to Black churches, they're the most unfriendliest churches. Service ends, folks walk out no meet and greet. I don't get that at the Presbyterian churches. We always have coffee in the coffee bar and sit and talk story for hours

This whole issue is a paradox to me. Women (obviously not all) are daily passing up genuinely good, hardworking men for vain reasons some of which revolve around him not “looking like” he has a big bank account(?). Yet, at the same time many of these same women are getting their backs blown out by young men young enough to be their sons “who aren’t working or doing anything for themselves” but because they’re physically attractive these women quickly compromise their “situational morals & standards” for temporary pleasure. Many of them have these youngsters dropping them off at their big corporate jobs where they make their six figures and the kid has their luxury vehicle for 8 hours to run with his boys or to go see one of his many women he’s (in one way or another) living off of. Then they turn around and say “ain’t no good men” or “God send me a Boaz”

Define what you mean is a "good" man? There seems to be different interpretations of what is "good". Most men say this however that's not a lot of women's experiences. Some men will say they love their wife/ or gf but don't really like them personally, it's a real thing. Some men will have a job, car maybe a house but no real passion to be a husband AND a father his kids. Men say out loud they want "peace, quiet, sandwich and s**" which sounds shallow because in this sentiment doesn't explicitly express to include his desires for a loving reciprocal relationship and a kids who grow to honor him, etc real things that matter beyond bedroom antics and having a meal. Or desires for respect in his community by his fellow peers. There is a difference between a guy who is hardworking at the job but perhaps he just hasn't been hardworking at his relationship with his wife/gf. I don't prescribe to woman's antics of not taking care of their man but I'm showing a disconnect between the two.
@@marieporter6631 Having traveled the world I can say that there is a disconnect between the rest of the world and Western civilization (US). When I say good I am placing emphasis on things intangible that one cannot put a price on like character, integrity, conviction, the ability to be selfless, caring, thoughtfulness, the ability to communicate effectively, patience, etc. That is what I mean. It doesn’t mean that this man is perfect because obviously none of us are. I prescribe to the Scripture as a reference to how a man is supposed to love (not a woman), but his wife. We are commissioned to love her “like Christ loved the church”. How is that??? He willingly laid down his life for her (the church). As a good man I am fully prepared to operate in this way for her. Yet, especially in American society we’ve been socialized and indoctrinated to see the man who is demonstrating the very same qualities and characteristics that described Jesus loving the church as somehow being weak, Simp(ish if you will; by men and women. Generally speaking in the western hemisphere when the term “a good man” or a “high value” man is mentioned the emphasis is placed more on tangible things that come and go like material things, money, status, (worldly power), looks, education. While these tangible things may be very important it is my opinion that in the western hemisphere too much emphasis is placed on these and not enough on the intangibles that last a lifetime.
So in my comment I was referring to a good man who possesses those inner qualities that I mentioned more so than the tangibles that many (not all women) in America presume are more important. We have become worshippers of Self to the degree that many of our children are suffering quietly because we think if we buy them things and otherwise give them a good life ie worldly security then they’ll be fine when they get older. Today we have millions of highly (book) intelligent young people who lack real manners, have little to no empathy, aren’t respectful of Elders and so on. Children who come from very humble beginnings but who have parents that invest their time and love into them often turn out to be better human beings. In America better seems to mean that you’re rich and look good (for the most part). I have had happen to me and seen happen to many genuinely good men; we give our all to a woman who at their whim decide to leave us to be with another man who in her eyes “has more to offer by way of looks, financial status, maybe even how great his sexual prowess is, but in each case they all try to come back to us because they so-called “better” guy played a role just to enjoy them physically and didn’t mind spending his millions on spoiling them for a season. A man who really is a good man (from the inside out) who works, but may not be rich, who’s dependable, trustworthy, sacrificial, integral, who will not bail on his woman should life hit her hard unexpectedly ie job loss, poor health, etc these men are generally invisible in the eyes of many women in America but these are the same men who suddenly become hot commodities when many of these women begin to lose their looks or have had so many sexual partners that they lost count and them men they prefer are no longer interested in them. How do you suppose that makes the men who are good men feel? Genuinely good men are out here and all we want is to be appreciated, respected and to be a woman’s choice. Not who she settled for. A man who is hardworking on his job but not his relationship is either not a good man or he may be a good man struggling to find the inner strength necessary to balance out his work on his job with his internal work on himself that would be necessary if he is to work on any relationship.

I do see clear differences between other societies and the West. I think what happens here in the West which I see often are men not leading with their intangibles rather flashy things like car, houses and bank accounts. Its cool men can have the capacity to earn a lot which demonstrate his hard work and input on the job but financial literacy is far important. Good men need to work hard and nurture their romantic relationship. It's a balance, whichever seeds you sow is what grows. Men shoulder the load more to be Christ-like. Men should lead to "draw women in" thru his spirit, love and inner strengths than material things. Lead with attitude not your pockets. I see good men choose wrong women than to do the inner work to attract a valuable woman worth her salt. If you build a $10,000 empire choose a woman for that, if you build a $1 million dollar empire choose a woman accordingly. A valuable woman will know how to anticipate your needs if she's locked into you. When a woman says it's hard to find a good guy this means who is both "good to you AND good for you". Some good men have deep behavioral issues brought on by unresolved childhood trauma or past relationships. Other societies spend time using the whole family, uncles, grandfather and cousins to raise and steer their boys into great husbands and fathers. Men know how to ask for s** but fail to ask for what's important to feed into their inner strengths. You have some interesting points.

I had this happen to me and I’m a handsome fit man and the women I’m talking about gave me at least 4 choosing signals in a row. Then when I tried to talk with her she tells me her name and Runs left me standing there bewildered what in the Heck is that. Oh did I mention I met her in Church. What’s crazy is I know she is more than interested. And I’m interested no games. We even looked like a good match size race. Now I may be able to give her a pass if it’s just that she is intimidated but we may never find this out.

This is true. Mine finally got accepted into a sorority at 40 and she stopped having time for the relationship. She’s more successful than most of those chicks but needed to follow them and be led by them. I knew when she pledged I was gonna lose her. Thank you for sharing because the most damning thing to me about the gold-digger videos is a lot of women will try to justify their behavior as it being a skit. If there was a skit attempting to get black men to look like absent and/or neglectful fathers the vast majority of black men don’t think that way, we don’t behave in that manner and no matter how funny it may seem we don’t want our sons growing up thinking that those type of actions are acceptable or palatable on any level.
