their best albums came out in the 90s
@@y-s-No not really Yoshimi, Ebmryonic, At War With The Mystics, The Terror, Kings Mouth, American Head, 7Skies H3 and Peace Sword are all fantastic records.
@@predeterminedmeat5024 everything after yoshimi is unlistenable to me. yoshimi is their last good album but i'm not sure it's even top 5 tbh.

yeah their best albums were the early and mid period. yoshimi was good but a step down, and they only got worse from there
@@y-s- You are crazy. Their creative peak was clouds taste metallic thru at war with the mystics. Some of their early stuff is great and some of their newer stuff is great. But those 4 or 5 records are absolute genius.
@@nicholasrosebush6182 it seems like we mostly agree except for the last couple albums in that timeframe. clouds is one of my fav lips albums and i used to rank it #1. still, i'd definitely rank early lips above at war with the mystics. that album was unlistenable for me and a major step down.
@@arujkhan1459I think they've only had 1 bad album, oczy melody wasn't quite good. And mystics is hit or miss although it contains some of the best Flaming Lips tracks ever
