Yes i booked online and seats are not fixed first cum first serve basis

No entry ticket required but yes bus you need ticket that you can take from counter directly

Yes,offline tickets are available at the periyar booking/ pickup point.But its better to book online to avoid long Queue.

Hi I’m coming to Kerala Munnar in less then a week and I really want to go to Thekkady as a day trip and do elephant junction/tiger reserve but it’s been hard for me to find a driver. My hotel is looking(Blanket Hotel) but I haven’t received any specifics for them. I’m willing to pay a driver well to take me from Munnar to Thekkady to these two places and back. Please don't do this periyar jungle safari ride. It's very expensive. Some take charges rupees 3500 , some take 2500, some take 1900.
We had booked the cheapest one out of three. We gave advance amount of 500 to driver. Next day, we got ready to go for ride at early morning around 6.00 am. We got call from driver to get ready.
We came down and got into the jeep. The jeep started and when we reached halfway of ride another person came and asked us to remaining 3000 rupees. We have told him that we only had to pay remaining 1400 rupees. This was another driver which we only enquired about the ride. We have not given advance to him. We felt as being looted.
The local people fooled us.
Actual charges are very low.
I request you all to not waste your money on this ride. Just waste of time 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Hindi is an Indian language, why this hate? Or you hate everything that is Indian! If hindi speakers stop coming to Kerala, your Kerala tourism will go on a holiday.
When u go to other states then which language do u speak. U hate Indian language and wants foreign language. I dont think kerala is really 100% literate if their thinking is like you.
