You basically only showed the DTC code reader/scanner portion. Can you make a video showing bidirectional capabilities and especially live data graphics? If you call up the TPS and AP on a graph and press the gas pedal to the floor does the graph respond in real time or is it delayed? Can you insert ba SD card and record your data on a test drive? I haven't seen this model yet. I have a cheap $40 dtc scan tool which is what you showed us here. What else can this unit do?
I bought the ArtiDiag 500S about 3 years ago. It does everything I need it to do and was less expensive than other scan tools that had similar functionality.
Can't believe you didn't recognize fingerprints on screen straight out of box. I was sold 2 different Foxwells that were suspicious of being a return or refurbish. Regardless, neither of them were functional. They went straight back to the seller. Probably will pass them on to someone else until someone keeps them. Hopefully 3rd time is a charm. I switched brands & ordered the one you are reviewing. Will see when it gets delivered.
Looks very good for the price....but without bidirectional control even some of the included functions will not work on many cars.. Probably Topdon ArtiDiag900 is the better buy... Even though it's about x2 the price it can do much much more.. This is still kinda just a basic scanner with "some" advance diagnostics.
I got a chevy that I replaced the throttle body an was told once I change or even unplug it I have to do the "throttle learning"? and like "program it"? would I need an bidirectional scanner to do that?
I bought one of these, absolute useless waste of plastic. Even though it specifically says online it's compatible with the vehicles I was using it on it was so glitchy and annoying. Tried to diagnose an abs fault on a Honda civic 2006. Code was for rear right wheel speed sensor. I tried to click the graph on the live data but the touch screen is soo incompetent I can't quite get the graph part. It asked for a pincode to calibrate a throttle body like WTF !!. I won't buy another topdon again I wish I didn't give away my old autel ml519. I messaged topdon and sent them a screen record of the crap I'm getting with it but I gave it away in the end I hated it. Going for kingbolen k7 next.

The Topdon stuff is solid IMO. Going through all the update madness is enough to make you drop kick it before you even start using it.
good day
I have a TOPDON AntiDiag500 scan tool, however, it is not providing me with a vehicle listing for me to upgrade
Hello, can you read/test ABS sensors (44, 45, 46, 47) with TOPDON 500 NEW? Thanks in advance
what does the brake bleed do and how to use it? I am planning to bleed brakes in my car
Can u do live live speed on wheel sensors while driving?
Do you have to have the engine running to use the scanner?
Just put the key foward or on newer cars, press the on button and it will work but if you want to know the scanner has its own power supply.
Can this read total odometer mileage?
Hi just bort one myself I like it I op you do Billy
how the hell does their $50 tool do bi directional & brake bleeds but their $150 does not?
what the fuck

total waste of money. Bought one to fix the service light on my Dacia and it would even connect to the car. All I got was unsupported.
$150cash I have want to buy
