@@primoziskra6394 Ya thats what I figured he would do was just swap them around and to another side by side of the for a different flight with both recording that one.
Yes you should do that, the color and image quality on the speedybee with powerplay dvr is very good compared to the rapidfire. is it not biased? In my opinion, this test is not objective enough and should be repeated to produce a solid comparison. Sorry in advance, that's my opinion. good job bro
@@catbroh That's what I was thinking...not all of us want to invest in digital. It's nice to see that some companies still provide improved and better analog vtx and vrx...and cameras!
Heck, the only thing that dragged me away from analog to Walksnail was the signal penetration. If it weren't for that, analog is still ultra simple, cheap, and issue free. Definitely missing the DVR audio and baked-in OSD too. Sure, I can add it back in post, but that's a pain in the butt! Analog is still pretty cool.
@@jaysonrees738 I really wish someone would make a digital system with an audio option. The only way now that I know of is using a additional analog vtx or an additional camera and neither are great for letting the pilot hear. Unless you have HDZ then there is a way to get analog audio at the same time but still need another VTX.
That image shaking at 1:07 is a little concerning. Also PowerPlay vs HDO2 has a huge bias towards the Speedybee, swapping them would have been a fairer test.
Very good test. I had no problem - just unfocus a little so you are looking at the full screen and not the scenery on each side (the Poweplay is clearly sharper). Then, what you see is the distortion that occurs on each side. The SpeedyBee is every bit as good as the RapidFire (which I use). If you told me they were both running the same firmware, I could believe it. I'd pick the SpeedyBee if I was buying again.
I expected the SpeedyBee to keep up with the rapidfire that I use on my HDO2, but I didn't expect it to be as good or even better. Your video proved me wrong. Of course the kind of DVR does it's part in image quality, but that's not the point. Both brake up at the same points and if you ask me, the speedybee is slightly better. Nice video, keep it up!!! Can't wait to see a review of the announced 4K record Walksnail cam (when it is released).
I would really like to be able to test this technology, but unfortunately in my country 92% taxes on imports charged at the time of purchase prevent me
The Rapid-fire feed looks absolutely terrible? Not the signal the actual picture. The quality and stability of the Rapid-fire feed. Is that a DVR difference?
@KremerFPV is that what we are seeing here is just a difference in the captured video? I honestly paid no real attention to the signal quality difference between the as I was so focused on the vastly different video quality. The cloudy image and stuttering frames seem like they kind of bias the actual results a bit.
Nice comparison video. I still have my Rapidfire just in case I want to fly analog. The Speedybee did very well. And the HDO2's dvr is still poo. Happy flying everyone. 😎
Hi buddy. I am writing to you because I have a problem with my rapidfire module. I want to go back to a previous version because v1.3.2 and v1.3.3 are not working correctly. THE official website no longer has previous versions available. Possibly you may have v1.2.8 or v1.2.9.......or lower. The latest versions do not show the full signal bar of the patch antenna and it works horribly......thank you and I hope you can help me.
Good comparison. I still fly lots of analog. How old is your Rapidfire? Have had a couple Rapidfires and they loose the ability to handle color around 1 year old for me.
HDO2 dvr is known to be bad. can you share your opinion? in this video Speedybee seems to win. Someone says that speedybee sometimes loses a frame occasionally...
It would be nice if antenna diversity for long range could be added in the future. Found nothing in the manual about this really useful option, only mixed mode available?
@@KremerFPV Also, i honestly don't know what PowerPlay is but it has way better DVR. Almost like it has higher resolution. Better contrast, better details, and better color. HDO looks washed out

I agree.
In this digital era...analog still looks so beautiful!
Modern analog cameras are no slouch

Get a good camera, good receiver and DVR. It is not that bad over digital with a fraction of digital cost.

Couldn’t you just swap the modules? I’m also curious to see what SB looks like in HDO2

Fantastic testing and comparison, Gal! 😃
Really impressive results indeed!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Thanks Mario. Happy holidays!
Looks like a solid budget choice. Good on them.
Thanks for doing another excellent review!
Thank you!
Best test ive seen on this im super excited to try analog

I don't think comparing HD0 and Powerplay DVR is fair.
I agree. Please see my pinned comment.
The only difference is the Price. Speedybee did a great job!
😎
NICE TEST BROTHER IM USING RAPID FIRE ON MY FAT SHARK GOGGLES AND ITS WORKS GREAT THANKS FOR SHARING HAPPY FLYING👍
Looks really nice. Does anyone know it this will install directly into Skyone 04X V2 goggles?? Many thanks!
Yes - not sure if the cover will fit or not. If I will find out I’ll let you know.

☹️
You could always do some 25mw range tests and see how they do at the far end of the signal.
I’m pretty sold on SB and almost bought one on BF. Definitely seems, if not as good, dang close for basically half the price
SpeedyBee is the clear winner😍, awesome comparison.
Thanks. Please see my pinned comment though.
@@KremerFPV LoL, good DVR does matter. it feel very similar quality to DJI V2 AV recording.

It looks like the SpeedyBee is doing noise reduction and possibly other image processing.
Can i put EV300D diversity module in side EV100 goggles😊
You will need an adapter: ruclips.net/video/z3SO_FPKAZ0/видео.htmlsi=cCAxbZ7rl0Z2iLfr
how about speedybee to HDO2? you can change on both I think

can you switch the dvr's around? speedybee looks impressive, but that could be due to better saturation and sharpness in the recording
If there's enough demand I will get another PP DVR and repeat the test.

Anyone know if this module will be a direct fit for the skyzone 04x v2 without having to buy or 3d print a cover?
Sorry but I’m not sure. Hope someone with these goggles will be able to confirm.
Is it worth buying
You need to push them further. See which loses sync first
Thanks for the suggestion.
nice comparison! would you say the difference in noise is noticeable in real life or is that more of a dvr difference?
Thanks. It seems to me that the difference between the modules is very minor. More tests are needed though.
