Your variety of texture never ceases to amaze me! The various components you put, and the way you carefully place them in exactly the right spot makes me go 'Ahhhhhh!'
You create art with plants so amazingly. This makes me imagine it as a real place, where I would be sitting on the rock, and dipping my feet in the little pool.💚
Thats amazing! I love the way you create that intricate hardscape and the way it all comes together once you put the plants in. Thats an inspiration for sure.
I find it's perfectly handy for storing my round cotton wool pads. No industrious taxing arts and crafts needed. Just open and pop them. It looks great and more importantly neat and tidy.

That is not only a great and creative idea, your video is very soothing - I normally would put videos on double time. One thought - whenever I use silicone caulk I clean the surfaces first with 91% isopropyl alcohol to aid in adhesion.
It is a really beautiful piece, but won't the water go bad because there is no irrigation? I know plants can purify water to an extent, but there is only so much they can do without a good flow.
Thanks. The moss wicks up the water pretty fast. It also evaporates overtime and forms condensation. Since its closed it will not go bad. Also theres very less water in there.
Thanks. It can be done but I would lose the lid which is important to keep this tiny paudarium closed at all times to trap humidity. Since it does not have a drip waterfall system it would not sustain if it is kept open.
I saw that little box and was thinking to myself, may as well skip this one. But of course I kept watching, and even though I wouldn't do one like this, I must say it turned out beautifully. Couple questions: Will the shredded sphagnum wick enough water into the aquasoil sphagnum mixture to keep it from crumbling and also to water the moss at the top? I've got a 10 Gallon aquarium with a broken front panel. Watching this made me think of taking it apart and making a 1/2 height frameless tank and get a front (formerly top) glass to do a larger scale of this. I'm thinking of getting plastic mesh to silicon to the back (formerly bottom) of the tank to keep the mud (I'll make mine from aquasoil, bentonite clay and coco coir so it will be more even in consistency and work into the mesh easier) wet and moss alive. Will I need to add a waterfall feature or drip system to keep the full 20 inches (50.5 CM) of moss wall alive? Yours looks to be air tight. Will my larger size one need ventilation? Thanks again for the project.
For a mini build it will work fine I think. Also it is kept closed with a lid. For larger setup you will need a drip waterfall to keep the moss alive if not enclosed with cover doors or lid. Thanks
Everybody puts sphagnum moss in their soil. Sphagnum moss is actually very protected here in Switzerland for historical reasons. Could I use another moss? If yes, which one? Dried out? Totally dead (oven)?
I love these videos, but I wish there was more. More aftercare, more maintenance. I'm afraid to build someting beautiful, then a month later the tiny driftwood dissolves, the pond is stagnant algea...Please add a pt. 2 long tern maintenance!

Love this. Just wondering if using the lid sawed in half would not be easier than cutting the bit of acrylic for the front?
