So happy for another makeup bag and already seeing some of my favorites here. I highly suggest the hourglass foundation stick, it’s so amazing and so creamy. I need to try the Chanel foundation if it’s even better than the water tint I was recently gifted. The rare beauty mascara has also been a recent favorite but I think my little tester is running out. So excited for the upcoming makeup bags and videos and appreciate your trustworthy recommendations!!!

When you said Chanel Pirate was the "first luxury lipstick formula [you] ever owned," I totally lit up! It's also my first luxury lipstick! My first splurge when I turned 20.
The Armani Lip Powers are STUNNING. ✨It might be my all-time favorite lipstick formula (minus easy sheers, like Merit Signature Lip). Michele Wang raves about them, so I just had to try. The formula is magical-it has crazy staying power but is somehow non-drying (unlike a liquid lipstick). I've even found color still on my lips in the morning, AFTER washing my face. I have the formula in 205, the classic 400, and 405. I've been eyeing 301, a bright fiery orange-red that looks great on Michele (I have a very similar complexion to her).
It wasn't the shade Pirate unfortunately but Rouge Allure was the first luxury lipstick formula I ever bought! I was 19 so we came to it at a very similar time 😍💄 Thank you for the Lip Powder rave review, definitely needs to go on my list! x

I really like the Armani eyes to kill mascara. I use it for a more natural look. Lasts through the humidity, no crumbles or smearing, and no clumping.

The Rare Beauty mascara is very good. I don't have any other overlaps with this one, sad to say. Still in pink mode for eyes, lips and nails, and trying to pan my Bare Minerals tube of skin tint. Makeup has gotten so fun to play with in recent years! Colors, textures, tools, formulas, all of it! Planning to treat myself to a fun pallet for back to school this year, with gorgeous greens.

My favorite current chanel red is rouge charnel, still cool, but brighter. I also love the no1 de chanel foundation, it's incredibly lovely. I would also recommend as a pricey pleasure the no1 serum mist, it's lovely as well. Unexpectedly my current favorite blush is a powder , nars exhibit a. It's incredibly lovely, the color buffed out with a chunky brush ( a real techniques one) looks just perfect . I tanned a little, half a chanel shade, and I'm making the switch from cooler pink blushes for summer. Joy looks like it could be a dupe. Might have to try it out but now I am still enjoying the newness for me of the nars one

if you love cle de peau concealer and merit foundation stick, you NEED the hourglass foundation stick!
i’ve tried so many but merit and hourglass are the only ones with the natural, light coverage finish i look for, to blend with the korean glass skin balms/highlighters i use.
just dot it around(never swipe) and blend with fingers!

@@matildaonvideo Well The Armani Eyes to Kill makes your lashes long and fluttery. Rare Beauty works great, gives more volume at first. However mine has gotten goopy and messy on the tube. Then it makes my lashes spiky. I only like it for awhile.❤️

I find it so interesting how certain products work for people but not for others. I did not like the Armani eye tints. Maybe it was the specific ones I got, which include the new camel shade, which on me was very orangey. Was not a fan especially for the price tag. Big sad
