If you look from a pure coaching standpoint, it is hard to argue against 2017. Kirby hadn't gotten enough years in the system to have the players be all "Kirby recruits." He made it to the national championship without the benefit of him choosing the players, and with him having 2 OCs in Jim Chaney and James Coley and a DC of Mel Tucker (oof...). He made it to the natty. In year 2. That is his best coaching job.
In 2016 a lot of people thought that Georgia made a mistake by hiring kirby and yes his first year wasn't good at all although he did lose two games by a point and Tennessee on a hail mary but after that he has turned the program around and if he does win another championship or if he doesn't he's still one of fhe best coaches we've had Go Dawgs
His players love him, UGA fans love him, every other fan base hates him, Perfect. Go Dawgs!

He has no leadership in the locker room from his starter’s, his 2nd team players are going to be better but they are a year away from starting.
