As an Afghan, I can tell you that Afghans were dying for peace, so many explosions, happend so many innocent lives lost, so many hearts broken , so many people were losing hope. Until finally the war ended , and yes its a negative peace because since all that evil trauma decreased, now it's the starvation of the people, and the lack of jobs and education opportunities for men and women . But we have hope they things will get better , not just by praying but each Afghan doing something to help the people and the country of Afghanistan flourish and become such that it becomes one of the best tourists sites so the people in the west and east can visit and tour the place , and enjoy their time in Afghanistan with their families or alone. But yea for now Biden or whoever is in control of the world banks please unfreeze the money and let Afghans live , as they have suffered physically, economically, emotionally and mentally.

There is no solution under the current framework of the world stage. They do not recognise taliban, as it continues to cause conflict on home soil. In the OIC meeting hosted by Pakistan all Islamic leaders and delegates refused to take a picture with the taliban. If Muslim leaders won't recognise taliban why should any other countries assist? Its simply too dangerous. No one will invest into a country which isn't pacified. They are currently fighting Pakistan !at the border with all the arms left by America

I think the reason for withholding the money is that they consider Taliban as an Extremist group and by international law,no money can be given in support of any extremist groups. I fought the taliban during the war, we knew on the ground that it was un winnable but in there defense now that they’re in total control of the country, the international community has frozen all assets to Afghanistan besides China who seeks financial gain from helping the country, but they can’t run a country with no money, there’s hundreds of millions of dollars in frozen assets from the previous government thats being held back, so I don’t think we can expect much from the taliban this winter

I’m not sure if Rozina provided anything productive here in terms of how we can strengthen Afghanistan, rather than just complain. If we were all to complain and flee our homeland, who is left to build it? I’m extremely happy that America left my country and that the war is finally over and I think that the Taliban will try really hard to rule in accordance to Islam and uphold the Sharia.

I fought the taliban during the war, we knew on the ground that it was un winnable but in there defense now that they’re in total control of the country, the international community has frozen all assets to Afghanistan besides China who seeks financial gain from helping the country, but they can’t run a country with no money, there’s hundreds of millions of dollars in frozen assets from the previous government thats being held back, so I don’t think we can expect much from the taliban this winter
