I’m from Jamaica where customer service isn’t a major thing lol but I’ve been living in Japan for the past 7 years where customer service is a thing on a very surface level. Moving to Madrid this year is going to be wild 😆

Haha sounds like you'll be an expert in customer service on many levels 🤣 that sounds exciting, are you moving here for work or just for a change?

Great video, thanks very much! I've been in Scotland for the last 5 years, moved straight from Brazil and I'd say I've adapted to the culture quite "well" by now since I moved quite young (18 yo), however, the weather kills me.... as you can guess. I'm studying fashion business and would like to move to Madrid as soon as I'm done with my course and try and get a decent job there to enjoy life a bit more than I do here.

Hey Augusto, wow fashion business sounds really interesting! Are you enjoying it? Yeah I can I imagine lol, the weather in Scotland is next level ❄️ Especially when you don't get a lot of light in the day. That's one amazing thing about Madrid, even when it's freezing like today, the sky is still blue! Makes a big difference to your mood.

@@Orlagh Fashion business has been really interesting indeed, I'm really enjoying it. I know it will require a lot from me but I will do my best to try getting a decent job over in Madrid after I graduate, I still have quite a few years to go so it will allow me to work on my Spanish, as I already speak Portuguese and it is quite similar I can understand a lot, both speaking and writing, so it shouldn't be too hard I hope! :)

Thanks for the tip about staring! Where my mum comes from people actually get into fights from 'staring incidents' LOL believe it or not! Even in the US, PDA is commented on says my mum heh heh (I wouldn't know, I'm too young). Kinda nice to know Spain is such a passionate country. :-) BIG LIKE no 3 and FV! 💯💯

Wow! I'd love to know more about that! It definitely makes me feel awkward 😅 It really is a passionate place but sometimes a bit too much 😆 thanks so much for watching and commenting 🥰

@@Orlagh Yes staring is seen as rude by some so it's good to know which cultures find it a natural thing! 🤔

Sorry to hear what happened to you on the scooter...thank goodness there were people around at 1am! In Singapore there are people around outside even at 2am eating...it's the big difference between hot-weather countries and cold ones like the UK I guess! 😜

@@Orlagh sorry I rarely log into this channel. i have another account that I use. ya I was a teacher at jiangxi normal university which is about 5 hrs from shanghai by train. I was looking at going back in the beginning of 2020 but now I'm not even sure. I spent like 5 days in hong kong too. ya the east seems to be growing a lot...i really liked the vibes out there at times. I'm from US

@@Orlagh I should look at being a teacher in spain because I did 4 yrs of spanish. I just dont like the idea of competing for a position...idk if it's very competitive out there. also I'm having a hard time finding any job listings. but i'm guessing there are language schools and that kind of thing
