I have seen a police video on people following blue lights, the car stop and booked the rider instead of going to the accident
Re the car changing lanes constantly. . .there was once a public information film that described these people as 'weaver birds'....very apt!!
Not to mention the exit at Morrisions is the same tight turn if you approach the exit from that that direction!

I got SO annoyed today, I was waiting for my MiL at the doctors. I wanted to turn the car around but NO there was a car parked talking to a woman right in the middle of the road. A car came out and it moved, turned round and yet again pulled to a stop in the middle again. It finally noticed that I wanted to turn around ended up going up on the pavement and again once I had turned round.
The car was a Police car with what my hubby calls the plastic police people
People with money.."do as we say, not as we do."..😂😂

We had 6 blokes mending potholes the other day and I was chatting to them and they were from all over Europe. Got the job done in record time with a minimum of fuss so power to em I say👍👍👍👍 I see your point though😉

That cyclist breaking all the laws made me laugh. A few weeks back there was an article in the Sunday Times magazine about "cycling Mikey" who seems to spend all his time trying to get video of drivers using their phones so he can have them prosecuted. A couple of days later one of his videos popped up on the right hand column on RUclips so I clicked on it. In under three minutes of edited video he committed three, and arguably four offences. I left a comment pointing out his offences and asking him if he really considered himself a suitable person to comment on others' road use, but didn't get an answer.
If he went on like that in the US he would be returned back to UK in a box. Na na na na na na na na........Mickys in a box, in a box. Mickys in a wooden box
That first one in Sutton, more often than not have some mug in the wrong lane. The opposite side of that gyratory is a bit of a mess, but can easily get around without having to get in the wrong lane
Tony you are so right about the traffic signs, they don't even think about the position of the signs anymore, I wonder if an accident occurred because of this, would the offending driver have just cause it taking it up with the council?

You talking about red light runners: I was sat at the temporary lights just outside Moreton in Marsh today and was turning left into the hospital/doctors just before the lights. I watched at least 4 cars go through on red from my side and coming back the lights were green my side and at least 5 cars came through from the red side while everyone sat waiting. Crazy people with no patience (just like my doctor I suppose)🤣🤣🤣🤣
With the diversion sign, even if you know the way it's telling you to go is the 'wrong way' it's quite reasonable for someone to believe that the diversion 'the wrong way' is intended - you see it all the time with roadworks directing you ways that you would not normally be allowed to go.

At the lights by the Angel yesterday, a white van man decided to turn left and then right up prices lane from the right hand lane that should go up Cockshot hill. 🙈

The arrow is not a diversion sign. It's actually pointing to the road which is closed.
The pedestrian is creating the danger by failing to use the designated crossing.
See it daily. People just have no regard for their own safety these days. Reckless oblivion.

At 11.30 those pedestrians have priority to cross. They were on the road before you entered into that street.

@@thelondondashcam This is not about the car or cars in front of you. It's about YOU not giving priority to pedestrians who were already on the road before you entered onto it..
Yes it is about the cars in front of me there's traffic in the road so they should not be crossing
@@thelondondashcamThey were about cross when the car in front of you passed. They were on the road before you passed them. You weren't paying attention. It is pedestrians who have priority over you. Read The HC.
@@thelondondashcam There was one car on the road when were about to cross the road. They were crossing the road before you even entered onto it. Pedestrians have priority as soon as they step foot on it.
Why when the signs are for roadworks do they put the signs on the pavement totally blocking it to wheelchair users then i have to go into the road to get Around these signs
They put a large Road Works sign(held down with sandbags) across my Driveway a few weeks ago, being disabled I could not move it. Took several hours for the contractors to come back & move it!!! Luckily I did not have to go out to an Hospital appointment.

Maybe not celebrate but they were definitely better than what they are now.
@@thelondondashcam I think you have Rose Hill tinted glasses ;-) In my lifetime I've never heard from anyone about how the British workforce is great. In fact every year of my life I have heard people complain that British workers are not as good as 20 years ago. Anyway I enjoy your show. Never change.
As far as construction workers are concerned the Brits have butter fingers. It was the Irish or The Paddies who built all the major cities and railroads in Britian.

@@thelondondashcam of course not. Low slung ERV, with the lights low down too. Panel van with tiny mirrors and the ERV parked right up his exhaust pipe suddenly because that other car pulled out of the way. I drive a van and often tailgating cars are invisible behind me due to the mirrors on the van.
What clip are you looking at because either I'm looking at the wrong clip or your timestamp is wrong
@@thelondondashcam the van/bike combo with the blues and twos behind. Borrow a van like that off someone, park your car that close behind then hop in the van and check the mirrors. You"ll be shocked how little of your car you would see

At 04:35 the sign actually says: "road ahead closed access only". Can you be sure the driver wasn't accessing a property either this side, or just across the other side of the bridge?
Correct you can still go down there but only so far, it's all about the diversion sign that's wrong

When I learned to drive I was taught to 'Keep Left, except when overtaking' you say that the wagon in lane 2 (at 8:33) is in the correct lane..lane 2 NO It should be keeping left, in lane 1, as it's not overtaking anything, until it gets to the slip lane, so that what WAS lane 2 becomes lane 1 at the point where the white line is short dash line, it would then have about a mile to move into lane 1 by indicating it's intention. or have I been taught a different Highway Code to yours ?
If there wasn't a junction coming up I would agree with you, but there is and there is nothing wrong in being out early especially with a slow moving HGV.
I only heard the Siren when I turned the volume up to near max (at which point your voice was far too loud)

8:16 The Merc did nothing wrong in passing on inside. If nobody was to undertake then most people wouldn't be paying as much attention to what's on their left as they sed to back before 1972 when many cars never had passenger side view mirrors and undertaking was illegal. Thank God all drivers don't think like you.
Undertaking is in the highway code as a recommendation not to do it, and although it's not illegal you can still be prosecuted for it.
@@thelondondashcam No you cannot be prosecuted for undertaking. It's as legal as overtaking. You may be prosecuted for doing it carelessly. Neither is it recommended to move and make multi lane changes to lane 3 or 4 and back again to lane 1.
You just said you cannot be prosecuted for it, then said you can be prosecuted if you do it carelessly, the car has come from the outside lanes to undertake it when it could have stayed in lane three and overtaken it like I did, going from the outside lanes to lane one to undertake someone in lane two isn't careless 🤔
@@thelondondashcam You don't seem to understand the difference between overtaking safely and carelessly. The Merc did nothing wrong. Changing lanes from left to right or right to left is not an offence neither is overtaking on either side. You can drive from lane 1 to 4 and back again. I prefer to stay in lane 1 if it's clear ahead as its safer. You don't seem to realise that changing lanes carelessly is one of the main causes of road collisions.
Yep, Merc was in the right lane for the slip road, and as cars can do 70, and lorries 50, his lane was faster.
11:31 If you are saying it is not safe to cross the road then you need to drive more safely. In the clip you are the danger - not the pedestrian. They have a right to cross the road where they want and it is up to you to look after their safety. Any road user in the road in front of you has priority. You should know this of course as you are a professional driver.
If you think that crossing a road when there are cars coming with a crossing 10 feet away then there is something wrong with you and them.
@@thelondondashcam If you think it is remotely acceptable to drive into pedestrians on the carriageway 10 feet away then there is something wrong with you. You simply cannot go around endangering members of the public going about their lawful business and then somehow make it as if it is their fault.
You are a victim blamer and, by you own admission that you endanger pedestrians, you are a dangerous driver.
Maybe in other countries where you can cross anywhere you want like say, India perhaps, but in Europe you need to cross at a crossing otherwise it be jaywalking

NO! You're the one who is WRONG! He is saying the Range Rover should be in the line of three cars Indian file who are in the correct lane for taking the third exit from the roundabout. The left lane is for left turn OR straight on!
