Ferrer and some of the gang seemed to be suffering from a sunburn at the beginning, no? Also, notice that Nadal doesn’t use the lasso follow through on every forehand. But when he wants extra side spin or the ball is low and fast, he goes to the lasso forehand also known as a reverse forehand.

Better feel and control. It's sometimes a technique taught as a junior but he's not changed it since then

I think Nadal has ruined his legacy trying desperately to hold on. Perhaps “ruined” is an overstatement but he has sure diminished it. Who knows, maybe Spain would have performed better without him in the Olympics. Maybe the same in Davis Cup. He should have retired quickly when it was clear that he could no longer play competitively. I have a sneaky feeling that he wanted to equal Djokovic’s slam titles once or twice more, and he tried his darnest. I don’t blame him for that. I have supported him since he appeared on the scene but for me it is too much drama.

His legacy is there, doesn't matter how or when he retires. 22 grand slam will be not less. I give you a tip take any big final from the past Rafa vs Roger or Djokovic and try to don't cry. We are so lucky to be able to watch the big three and Messi isn't? Enjoy the life and the David Cup my friend! 😉

Some random youtuber tells Nadal when to retire. Nadal did not lose one Slam match 2 years ago until he had to pull out because of an injury at Wimbledon semis. If you play on this level you would try it again.

Lol i'm sure one of the greatest most decorated athletes to ever live is devasted that some brainless lifelong loser in the youtube comments thinks he ruined his legacy by playing 2 more years after his last slam win. Try to be less confident in yourself and your opinions in the future.

If you honestly believe that Nadal cared about comparing his achievements to Djokovic's, then you're clueless. Yikes.
