#07 Galatians Intro and chapter 1:1 to

This is the beginning of the Galatians Study we will be engaged in for our next studies. This book is intended to shock the churches of Galatia into awareness that they were abandoning God through being tricked into legalism: man's aim to acquire from God what Christ has already purchased for us. This tactic is used against God's people through our desire to purely live for God. If there is a faster, more thorough way to grow with God we desire it. But to accept any other method for spiritual growth other than what God has directed, which is the Gospel of the grace of Christ, is to be in disregard of the power of the Gospel. This deception was used against the churches of Galatia, as it is still used today against God's people. This epistle of Galatians is constructed to rescue saints from the destructions of legalism into the freedom and wholeness produced by the genuine Gospel.
